I think it is important to remember for Dame Pesos that of everyone in this mess except [Maybe] josh, his core audience is the most removed from the Drama scene.
Dame Pesos has long since pivoted his channel into ragging TYT and Politics and his channel probably has an enormous "DO NOT TOUCH!!" next to it after Trump retweeted his election meltdown video for fear of mainstream backlash.

He can pretty much do as he pleases and I don't know about his internet income situation but based on his upload pattern it seems like he makes his videos does drama for his own amusement and is financially independent of his efame.

So that's my guess as to why he doesn't have any eceleb survival instincts.
As for why he sticks with ralph, I haven't watched their interactions since the Pillstream, but back then it legit seemed to me like he was trying to drive ralph to suicide by overdose, so maybe he is playing the long game.
Or ralph is a drama lightning rod and Dame gets front row seats.
Or they're internet Fwiends and Dame just likes him and Gator and and dick the guntstream crew.

Something distinctly changed about Dame around the time of the simpspiracy stream. Now every time he appears he seems to want to just suck off Gunty and Dick every chance he gets. The whole thing has just gotten progressively more cringey and dead air ala Kumite/Tonkytime/Cog tier since then.
