U.S. Riots of May 2020 over George Floyd and others - ITT: a bunch of faggots butthurt about worthless internet stickers

So, fed up with the whole due process thing, the Prosecutor in the McCloskey case is just resorting to straight-up evidence tampering:

St. Louis prosecutor ordered crime lab to reassemble Patricia McCloskey's gun

ST. LOUIS — The gun Patricia McCloskey waved at protesters was inoperable when it arrived at the St. Louis police crime lab, but a member of Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner's staff ordered crime lab experts to disassemble and reassemble it and wrote that it was “readily capable of lethal use” in charging documents filed Monday, 5 On Your Side has learned.

In Missouri, police and prosecutors must prove that a weapon is “readily” capable of lethal use when it is used in the type of crime with which the McCloskeys have been charged.

Assistant Circuit Attorney Chris Hinckley ordered crime lab staff members to field strip the handgun and found it had been assembled incorrectly. Specifically, the firing pin spring was put in front of the firing pin, which was backward, and made the gun incapable of firing, according to documents obtained by 5 On Your Side.

Firearms experts then put the gun back together in the correct order and test-fired it, finding that it worked, according to the documents.

@AnOminous can probably give a better idea as to what we're looking at, but as I see it:

1. The charge is that the gun was readily usable.
2. It fucking wasn't.
3. The prosecutor's office fucking made it usable to try to make the charge stick.

Fucking miserable.

Why is this prosecutor even going forward with the case when the AG and Governor said they would just pardon them.

Because the Prosecutor wants to be reelected, wasn't going to be before this, and needs to get the Outraged Nigger / Soyfaggot vote.

E: Plus, she's literally a plant bought and sold by Soros.

:story:
There's a protester in Portland who doesn't want the fires - said that they should police themselves and not create the chaos that Trump says is there.
Promptly gets threatened, screamed at by a violent cave man and a fat girl and then says "what can I do better".
For real. Fuck these people.

As I wrote yesterday, when I covered the subject of lasers a bit, I did a course at uni to get my laser safety certificate, which would have allowed me to become some kind of laser safety officer, checking laser installations where the public would be at risk, such as any mass gatherings like raves etc. etc.

If you want to know a little more about laser warfare at a guerilla level, then read on...

I never got the cert. but I did get pretty far to the end of the course. One of the things I learned to do was use software to make shapes and write letters and all that. Hardly ground breaking stuff, but it was fun. The main focus though was on SAFETY SAFETY SAFETY!

Again as I mentioned in my post yesterday, I wore those goggles for safety at one of the demonstrations given. As I remember it they had the appearance of welder's goggles being a tight fit so no extraneous light could get in, but they weren't that dark - maybe a little smokey. I don't honestly remember 100 percent. One reason being, the room was filled with smoke as well at points to show how lasers really work, even when you can't see them - they can still blind you! Same principle at raves: that is why the smoke machine is always employed when the lasers get switched on - to maximise effect.

You can't keep lasers switched on all the time willy nilly. They drain power. They need to be supervised. And you can bet your bottom dollar that any kind of official gathering there is a laser safety officer there to check for liabilities. They have to be at a certain height and not directly shining in to people's faces, though with small bursts and certain frequencies (read colours) they tend to be nothing more than a mere annoyance. This is why people off their fucking nuts at raves don't go blind. OH I ThINK I'll jUST stARE in to the LASERs a bit MOre - they ARE so FREAky! Kind of thing.

Also, when you are on drugs, your pupils and how they react to light are severely affected. For example, when taking Ecstasy or MDMA they open up like big wide saucers, when taking opiates, they give the 'pin' effect that police and doctors look for as a sign of intoxication.

So if you are there with your eyes wide open, then having lasers firing coherent beams of light right in to them is not such a good idea. This is why most lasers at raves are Green. A very low frequency. Same with Red. Another low frequency. But you can get lasers that are an off type of Red colour and they will cause permanent eye damage and blindness. Blue tends to be quite nasty too. You can look up the frequencies yourself. It's to do with how the laser is stimulated in the first place. Take YAG lasers for example: Ytrrium, Aluminium, Garnet. Very powerful and can cause blindness. There were YAG lasers being displayed at the course I did hence the need to wear serious eye protection. I believe they are used in eye surgery and also in the military. You probably won't get a YAG laser at a rave. And even when the smoke catches the light so you can see it, it is only in passing waves as it stimulates the particulates to a frequency that your eye can observe.

Whenever you go to any event like this you are well within your rights to ask to 'speak to the management', to confirm that the legal laser safety check has been carried out. But pretty much you can be confident that only the most underground and shady of places will have lasers firing off without some kind of official check. You wouldn't just be blinding one person with an errant laser, you would be blinding dozens, perhaps even hundreds of people.

Now. When someone hands you a pair of goggles and says "don't worry, these magic goggles will stop you from going blind for the rest of your life or just being debilitated long enough to be kicked to death on the ground", well, you better trust they did NOT fuck up with the goggles that only protect against Tear Gas. It happens. I'm sure safety checks are in place, but still. That's some serious trust needed there.

And who wants to be the first to test those new super-duper only 300 bucks instead of 600 bucks goggles. I mean, it's not like anyone actually had a permanent-eye-damage-causing laser fired in to them to check, right?

But it's not realistic to expect law enforcement to be wearing anti-laser goggles all the time. A laser can be made at home. There are youtube vids on it. You can make one out of an old CD player!

Besides, no matter what the rating of the goggles, it depends on the power of the laser. A certain frequency fired at a certain power may or may not cause eye damage or temporary blindness. And is that laser being fired being 'pulsed' or not?

I highly doubt antifa are making up large battery packs such as what you would need to be carried in the back of a small van to power lasers that would melt the steel of the AR-15's the LEO's are carrying, but still...

For one last time. Pen lasers powerful enough to cause temporary (and permanent) blindness can be bought on the internet. Sure there are crackdowns, but don't think some company in China won't spring up and be more than happy to sell a little 5mW blue pointer laser that totally disorientate you if shone directly in to your eyes. If they are happy to print dollars to cause chaos. If they are happy to lab up Fentanyl to cause chaos. They are more than happy and capable to knock up a cheap blinding device that can put in your pocket and bought for only 10/20 bucks.

Another thing to remember with lasers is that they are indiscriminate in the sense that they bounce of walls or shiny things. Mirrors reflect a massive percentage of the light created by a laser. Just like a bullet deflecting off concrete can kill a man unlucky enough to be standing by, a laser deflected off a mirrored surface can pretty much cause the same amount of eye damage. Malls and many other places are full of mirrors and even glass has a certain reflective quality to it, depending on its structure, and angle of hit that the photons bounce off.

Lasers burn through metal, they evaporate human tissue cells, they can even be mounted on to the heads of frickin' sharks!

They can be bought for chump change on the internet. They can be modified. They can even be made up yourself if you know what you are doing.

They don't need to be super industrial strength. They only need to be strong enough to cause temporary blindness by striking a direct hit in to someone's retina. They only need to be small enough to be carried in your pocket.

This is why all lasers should be banned at protests and anyone caught using or carrying should be hit with the same laws for people carrying knifes (without a license).

It really has sickened me to see these cheap fucks using this tactic. And I don't know if they story I responded to yesterday (about 3 law enforcement being blinded) is true or not, but it would not surprise me. If it has not happened yet it is only because they are not using the stronger lasers available, and doing it from a position where they can shine the light for long enough in a continuous pulse to cause damage. A laser of a certain power does roughly as much damage as one of half that power if shone for twice the time. You get the math.

When my Safety Laser Officer gave me those goggles to wear, I trusted him, because I knew he had 'skin in the game'. It wouldn't have looked good for him for his students to go blind in class. There was only about 10 of us in that class anyway. And he was also highly experienced and respected in his field. So I put those goggles on with confidence.

In the heat of battle, a stressed Sgt. firing out pairs of goggles from a vehicle would mean I trusted a little less.

One final time. The tech is out there. The only reason it is not being used is because this is asymettric warfare and no one wants to go spooking the opposition when they are beating them black and blue to start with - and winning the wider war.

If you are a LEO faggot or a FED faggot or wtf kind of faggot. Look in to PPE that will protect you against readily available, readily affordable, readily concealable and readily deployable laser tech.

The chances of being blinded by one of these are still minimal, but it's the debilitating and shock effect they can give when you realise you have just been blinded. Even if it is temporary blindness, you won't know that till after 30 seconds, 30 minutes maybe after being struck. On impact you will lose your eyesight and ability to see and at that point you won't know if it's forever and ever or not. You won't suffer blindness in both eyes at once, it will far more likely be just one eye. But you will know. And you will react, apart from being blinded. Believe me, and if you don't believe me, read up on it, the human organism goes in to shock when it loses a sense capability that it has never ever been without its entire life. No matter how big or how mean you are. You will be affected and you will be greatly incapacitated.

These antifaggots talk a good fight about the Geneva fucking convention. But I believe one of its main tenets is that weapons that cause blindness are blanket-banned.

And here they are, trying to blind people.
Proliferation of green and blue DPSS and diode lasers really is scary in protests when you think about it. These chinese green and blue lasers might usually have terrible beam quality, but they're still Class 4 and can cause some serious damage. If you wanna be really insidious, you can take apart a green laser and just use the even more powerful IR part of the laser before frequency doubling to have an invisible blinding beam. Gotta add some optics, though, and better be careful. You can see the beams (or rather, the spots) using a phone cam, they usually have shitty IR filtering.
There's a protocol on blinding laser weapons in the Geneva Convention, but it's mostly about laser weapons specifically designed to cause blindness. Article 2 states that when using other lasers (like targetting lasers), causing injuries must be minimized. Using non-weapons lasers to cause blindness surely falls under that somewhere.
It was made up in 1995, and since then laser technology has made quite a lot of progress. Especially in handheld devices (no, actual laser "rifles" won't be a thing anytime soon, but laser CIWS are in deployment, as far as I know).

/edit:
Btw., due to so many "laserpointers" in the green and blue spectrum now being basically Class 3 and 4 lasers, now pretty much every company here in Germany needs to have a laser safety supervisor appointed as soon as they even have a basic bitch laser pointer.

Self crit is abusive cancer. Got a link to the vid? Sounds entertaining.

The magic negro wandering around with a magic towel and a stolen backpack and screaming 'blessings' is my new favourite character

Edit; Oh his name is Marcus Evans. I hope he's out here tomorrow.

It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. There comes a point where there are no options and "fuck optics" needs to become the mindset. If anyone right of the far left is tired of their homes burning down, they need to just start gathering and unloading live rounds on the rioters so the feds don't have to. Then they need to march on the property of their local leaders and lynch them for allowing this shit to happen.

The past few weeks have demonstrated the state government doesn't have you back if you attack the rioters in a democrat state. The have become a protected class. Immune from media criticism, immune from bail, virtually immune from state law. People friendly to the Democratic party like Susan Rice are obviously trying to frame things in a "uwu poor protesters just wanted to burn down a courthouse, just let them, fascists".

You are virtually on your own if you live there. It's literally a miracle the two people who protected their home is getting a pardon from the governor at this point. If I was near there. I'd just leave. The mother proved, that even dying doesn't change the narrative. They are going to keep pushing it til a Fed flicks a protester on the nose with his finger and then you'll see the headline the next day it's proof of fascism.

The media makes it look bad. But really these are localized problems. Things are no where near bad enough for people in the suburbs and towns taking days off to go into city centers and bash middle class soyboys in the face. Because you are in this thread it might look that way. But it's all optics. That's what they are betting on. These are mainly localized around Democrat controlled city centers.

Finally good video footage that starts around 39:00 of the feds moving in to take the street back.

Edit 1:There is more tear gas being shot here in this 30min clip than all of Minneapolis and Atlanta combined during all the days of riots.
Edit 2: The imperial Death March is fucking BEAUTIFUL combined with the dude with the american flag and leaf blower. God I love this timeline.

They could order welding gloves instead of oven mitts. At least pretend to know what they are doing.

The Spanish Inquisition is famous because it was an aberration, not the norm.
the spanish inquisition was mostly about rooting out muslims and jews, and cracking down on religious heresy in order to keep spain cathlic. they did almost no witch hunting, that stuff was mostly a central european phenomenon centered in the HRE

the portrayal of the spanish inquisition as some kind of terrible crime against humanity by religious fanatics is a gross overexaggeration, probably rooted in anti-spanish and anti-catholic propaganda from hostile countries (like england) at the time

You sure he isn't in a dumpster somewhere by now? Because I'm certain a good percentage of dindus actually believe that casket is made of solid gold.

Too soon. And by "too soon" I mean they may have some respect for the man still. Whenever the next black guy gets killed and causes riots, Floyd will be exhumed, his bones dumped on the ground and the casket taken to the nearest pawn shop.

This is true. Witch hunting was mostly a Protestant thing, the Catholics just dismissed witches as lunatics instead of hanging them for the sins of feeling joy or whistling on the Sabbath like the Protestants did.

The Salem Witch Trials were done by the literal Puritans, who were more or less the origin point of the "redneck (((traditionalist))) crypto-kike" wing of conservative Christianity alongside John Calvin in Europe (and the Puritans were Calvinists to boot)

Protestants associating Catholics with the witch trial is the theological equivalent of the bearded male feminist rapist accusing some clean-shaven random nobody of being a sex pest for saying they liked anime and disliked Marvel

no
the initial persecution of witchcraft started way before the split of the church, the malleus maleficarum ("witch-hammer", kind of the founding document of institutionalized persecution of witches) was written and published decades before luther even began his reformation. and even after the reformation, there was no real denominational pattern to the witch hunts, they occured in both protestant and catholic areas alike.

and even after the reformation, there was no real denominational pattern to the witch hunts, they occured in both protestant and catholic areas alike.

The initial witch hunts did begin before the Reformation, but IIRC, Henry Kramer (the author of the Malleus Maleifcarum) was excommunicated by the Catholic Church for his near-heretical obsession with witchcraft.

Also, the early Inquisition in France and Italy mainly targeted heretics (namely the Cathars and fringe Gnostic sects) as opposed to witches while the majority of the witch hunting statistics and the most high-profile witch hunts in Europe during the Early Modern Era were Protestant-led.

While the European witch hunters were mostly Protestant with a few Catholic hunts here and there, the ones in colonial North America were entirely Protestant (and mostly Puritan or Calvinist to boot)

From what I see on that article. Some Detroiters might be happy to see federal agents.

Charlie LeDuff on Trump sending federal agents to Detroit: People are 'scared... angry and they want help'
Detroit residents are 'scared, angry and they want help,' LeDuff said

Pulitzer Prize-winning Michigan journalist Charlie LeDuff told "The Story" Thursday that Detroit is "in for a slog" as gun violence continues to surge at troubling rates in the city.

"I think we are in for a slog here," LeDuff told host Martha McCallum. "I think you know it and the country knows it, the police do their jobs, [but] there's not enough police to do it and some are afraid to do it but just last week they pulled 106 guns off of 117 arrestees. Guns are everywhere."

OPERATION LEGEND: IS IT CONSTITUTIONAL?

LeDuff's comments come a day after President Trump vowed to deploy federal troops to several U.S. cities -- including Detroit -- to combat rising crime.

The "surge" of agents to struggling American cities is part of Operation Legend -- named after 4-year-old LeGend Taliferro, who was fatally shot while sleeping in a Kansas City apartment late last month -- and comes as federal law enforcement officers have already descended on Portland, Ore., and Kansas City, Mo.

LeDuff said the federal presence in Detroit comes as a relief to residents who are "scared... angry, and they want help.

"Nobody seriously thinks you should defund the police because as we talked about before, we've already done it and look what's happening," he said.
