Regg Inkagnedo is headed to Portland!

This mess has been hair raising for Libertarian minded persons such as myself. Is there such a thing as the Yellow Pill? Or is it the Pinochet Pill? Because all of a sudden I am viewing US Marshals and Tactical federal police units as necessary to preserve a free society from a baying mob.

These sorts of groups are known as "necessary evils" in any civilisation to ensure it's light is not extinguished.

Hmm, what's that? Who did it? I didn't see nothing.

Odd they didn't swarm the guy, wonder what was stopping them this time. Just optics?

Deer in the headlights and their invincibility was broken instantly. They immediately all became selfish creatures and just didn't want to get beaten up themselves.

It's why hundreds of them can be broken by six federal agents doing football tackles.

In heartening news, the UK Labour party, the party of such fuckwits as the troons and the BLM idiots is facing bankruptcy because of a large number of civil claims against them. They were (and still are) a party of anti-semites who were effectively taken over by a bunch of cretins in Momentum (they of the targeting children, cult-tactics and the green new deal things in the USA) to prop up a hard left, complete shit of a leader, Jeremy Corbyn.

The party was left an unelectable pile of complete and utter shit, with utter morons in it, who, every time there's been a GE have REEEEEd and screamed and shouted and declared flawless victory in the build-up to it, only to get completely and utterly buttfucked at the ballot box, and the supporters are always left going "iT mUsT bE rIgGeD11!!!11111" in the aftermath.

A leftie party going bankrupt would cheer me up anyway, but the fact it's that especial shower of idiots really would be magnificent.

I doubt they'll go bankrupt. Len McKlusky from UNITE will just bung money at them till they are solvent again. It's not the first time in the last few years they've been nearly bankrupt since most business donors fucked off back to their natural home of the Tories.

At what point do we just drop all the niceties and arrest Ted Wheeler for treason?

He is the head of the executive branch. His job is to enforce the law in his city and to protect the rights of EVERY Portlander, including business owners and the private property rights of everyone. And it's not like people can vandalize or destroy shit just because it's public property either, that affects everyone's taxes.

Why make a martyr when you can make a moron instead?

I'm hoping and praying that Labour's utter BTFO'ing over the winter is, like Brexit was in 2016, a preview of things to come across the pond. Didn't all the working class Norfs and chavs get sick of Labour being Tankie weirdos and flip, or something like that? Or was it just the Shire Tories showing up again?

Basically Labour moved into IdPol, more "liberal inteligista" territory and the "third way" which has none of the benefits of capitalism or socialism and all of the bankruptcy chances.

Whats happened is the NORF F.C lads all saw Corbyn and the confusing as fuck position on Brexit versus the Tories who had a the Great Floppy Haired showman and a simple constant message of "GET BREXIT DONE".

Now, demographically its quite interesting, a lot of these seats have been expected to get closer, or flip for some time. Labour's socially liberal policies, especially on immigration are at odds with the poor sods of the former Red Wall who've had all their industry closed or nicked to mainland Europe (or Turkey) and are sick of it. They want to be able to live and graft again.

Since 1992 this has actually been seen, and became more acute in 1997 onwards, where Tony Blairs mega-majority steadily eroded in what was their core territory. Places which boasted a 17,000 Labour majority just 10 years ago, are now 5,000 Tory and may steadily increase.

Now, it creates an interesting conundrum (which the Tories have named "The Blue Barricade") as many of these seats haven't held a tory MP historically, or for a century or more. Meaning the local parties are very small and thus more acutely aware their votes are loaned and likely only loaned for the next four and a bit years.

If these MPs do well, and work with government and land some nice Norf projects which create jobs or the prospect of jobs, then the Red Wall likely won't be rebuilt.

Early signs are... The Tories are landing it pretty well so far.

Its been far easier for the Tories to move left on the economy (as Labour quit so much of the field its hilarious) than it would be for Labour to move rightwards on economics or social issues.

On top of that, various government ministers come out saying shit like "I plan to kneel twice in my life, I've done it once to ask my wife to marry me, and for The Queen" as well as the Uni minister basically telling the universities that if they want bailing out, they basically ditch ruinous social sciences and commit to freedom of speech.

It's been a little funny watching the Portland streams, as it seems like for every person actually "protesting" there are 2 or 3 people taking pictures/streaming. It makes it even more obvious that social media > irl [though I'm here so idk if I can throw stones in that direction]. I also don't really get the sense that they really believe in this. It really feels performative. Maybe because they aren't willing to even hurt themselves for their beliefs? I dunno.

It was really apparent in the video a bit up thread of the 2nd view of the sawing - one person was using it, one person was watching out for them, and 5 or 6 people were taking pictures.

It would probably be a bit more difficult, but I want to make a WU/Antifa version of that comic of Stalin looking horrified at ADF.

This in particular has been my thought on how to fix the Academy in the US. The States and the Federal Government spend massive amounts of money on the colleges, both in direct funding, federally backed student loans and research contracts. They could come out and say no Institution that teaches intersectional social justice, critical race theory, or from a list of proscribed books will be eligible for receiving any government monies.

They could still teach these things if they want, first amendment. But they can do so without a dime of taxpayer money. Ditto for their students wanting to learn about it.

leftists are way too entrenched in all levels of the administration and bureaucracy for that to ever happen

This has already been happening in the US, where federal funding has shuttered several universities who could've just booted out the dye haired morons telling everyone that men are racist rapists. Hungary has now said it simply won't allow any taxpayers money to go into "social sciences".

The UK has the problem of grants basically being up to the individual who applied for them picking and choosing how and where to spend it. Our Uni system has been marketized despite quite a few being owned by the state.

A number of UK Unis decided to quit the various national unions though, especially the National Union of Students when it began making various retarded noises a few years ago.

Minneapolis city council voted to fire the PIO and take over public communications about crimes themselves as retaliation for the PIO saying Floyd had a medical event during his arrest. I am sure there are no nefarious reasons for doing this.

Damn you, Orwell, I'm sick of quoting you! Stop being right all the time!

That Louisville stream... lol omg wtf I need bbq.
This is a mulitlayer shitshow. A shitshow parfait, if you will.

I wonder sometimes what the manly men types think when the yappy women of the groups start their nonsense. All the rioters have them. The men stand around and the women bark. It's like a trailer park took the show on the road.
