Lol...a lot of the feds I work with have served in combat arms in the military and/or are Mormons. Nearly all of them have gotten up at 5 AM or earlier even before they became feds.

The guys protecting the courthouse 'til 3am every night aren't getting up at 5, genius.

The feds guarding the courthouse are on graveyard shift. The riots start around 12:00 AM. They usually last until 3:00 AM, and require fed presence throughout, plus cleanup after the actual crowd gets dispersed. So a fed that gets off shift around 6 AM, give him another 1-2 hours to travel and shower, probably gets to sleep around 8 AM at the earliest.

So yes, 11:00 AM is probably in the middle or beginning of the sleep cycle for the feds guarding the courthouse. This could be an effective tactic, assuming they know where the feds are actually sleeping. (I will laugh my ass off if they get the wrong building and just annoy some tourists.) The "don't circulate online" bit shows they're trying to be serious about OpSec.

And hey, it plays to their strengths. The one thing these LARPing assholes are good at, is being loud and obnoxious.

For the record, cops aren't beating them and dragging off corpses. The protesters are just sitting down in the middle of the road, and when the cops come to pick one up they go dead weight limp to make it harder.
