These 'people' have no idea what it is to live under actual oppression. In a true police state the cops would've left them to die and protesters getting black bagged or straight up murdered by death squads of 'off-duty' cops and the huwhite supremacists they fear so much would be an everyday occurrence.

Hesitance is absolutely the first instinct. Most non gun owners haven't a clue what to do when a shooting begins. Especially with the fireworks being set off in every city every night. I hope whoever shot those protestors gets a bullet in his teeth. Disgusting.
