Rate me late if I am, but I just watched the Austin PD briefing on the protest shooting and apparently the dead protester not only had a rifle on him, but approached the driver with said rifle before the driver used 2nd Amendment remedies to extricate himself from the situation.
This has not been a good night for BLM/Antifa and guns. No wonder they spent the last week trying to bait the gun owners in coming out of their houses. They need somebody with some actual trigger discipline at these protests.

Portland Feds just announced that they would throw gas if the protestors kept up the firework-tossing / laser-shining / whatever else they're doing.
Gas gets deployed and there WILL be bodies, a serious crush in the crowd could easily kill dozens at the minimum. I have a feeling this won't end quietly.

At this point, the riots are all Antifa and the most radical "true believer" BLM groups. It's no longer a nationwide thing in the same sense it was back in June, but the cities that are still hot are extremely hot and are all in deep blue states or are "deep blue islands in a sea of blood red" like Austin
The Woke Left are going all out and Antifa/BLM are going all out, and at this point I think even the Democrats don't know what to do since their erstwhile shock troops are out of control. The local and state-level Dems will keep stanning and simping, but I have no doubt that the Federal-level Democrat establishment and their corporate puppet masters are trying to figure an exit plan to cut the line on Antifa and BLM without letting Orange Man Bad win.
The only real issue is how to keep them from getting their Kent State moment while protecting the Federal courthouses and installations....although if the US Marshals don't use lethal force and end up getting overwhelmed and suffering casualties, that might be the McVeigh/Charlottesville moment for the far left.
