I quoted you because I too have run across more than a few folks who think Yakuza are somehow "better" than other gangsters. Many gangs traditionally associated with tattoos like yakuza have stopped actually encouraging people to distinguish themselves physically with signs like this. Even criminals realize basically permanently putting "HEY COPS I AM A CRIMINAL IN A GANG OF CRIMINALS" on your skin is not actually a really good idea.

Historically the yakuza are primarily responsible for keeping Japan from collapsing entirely post WWII. But that comes from a heavy sense of nationalism and a lot of the people involved are decent people underneath it all. But that doesn't excuse the bullshit western fetishism that she asserts.

Well, sometimes mobs of people go after an innocent person because some fucking CUNT makes libelous accusations about them, then another batch of crazies latches on to the first and spouts ever more outrageous lies about the person. Maybe they start with some old rumors, then just start trying to outdo each other in more and more insane accusations, accusing the guy of rape, child molestation, astrally projecting to rape them like that PULL nutcase, mistaking them for actual child molesters like Ilyich Guardiola, etc. etc. etc. until the man is completely destroyed.
