Movies And Shows You Just Can't Quite Remember The Name Of

Reading this thread reminded me of an old Fantasy cartoon I watched in the 80s about a young hero who had to track down and fight a battle with a magical shadow that had escaped from its owner, the King of the Faeries. After a little rooting through Youtube, I found it:

It was based on a book by Brian Froud, which I imagine, was a lot scarier than the TV special. I recall reading Froud's Trolls book in the elementary school library as a kid and getting the shit scared out of me. His work was made to traumatize and fascinate children.

There was an educational kid show with talking dot, question mark and exclamation mark. Anyone remembers that? I really want to see how cgi of characters aged.

Kind of sounds like "Crashbox" on HBO. There was a skit similar to that but cant remember if they were letters or numbers.

Its not that sadly. I remember the episode when ! finds a bone and they think its a new dinosaur, then they talk about how you identify a dino spiecies and even how you can bring them back using cgi. Cool stuff. In the end it was revealed that was just a chicken bone eaten by the dot character.

This is from a super hero movie I'm trying to remember the name of. This film is a live action netflix film I once saw with family back in 2017.

So in the intro of this film, there's this one normal looking chubby dude wearing a white shirt and blue Jean's, he opens his hands and lighting bolts come out of his palms, and he looks to be in a garage. And the next scene is this other antagonist, he's a dark skinned man with a trimmed beard and wearing a shiny eye piece that has a lot of lenses flares and it's a him standing in space. And then the title screen appears. And then the next scene is of the 4 or five protagonists, a person with a red and black costume that kind of looked like deadpool, one guy with a read and yellow hero costume that kind of reminds me of a fly.

It was so long ago I only remember one scene and I'm not sure if I remember it correctly. I think it involved a group of kids on top of an old warehouse, bridge, or something old. They were looking for something which I think was a key. I they they also had to move slowly. If I remember correctly there was also a kid with glasses. I was about 5 so It was most likely 80s or 90s.

There's this tv series (British, I believe) that took place into a retirement house, where a group of old ladies were up to various shenaningans to annoy the strict and uptight manager of the house. It was good fun, but for the life of me I can't remember what it was called.

So there was this show with realistic character designs think along the lines of Captain Planet or Spider-Man 1994 about sailors. They had at least one woman onboard despite being set in the 17th or 18th century and it being a common saying that it brings bad luck to have women aboard ships. There was also this green clad guy who looked like Harry Osborn from the aforementioned Spider-Man cartoon show who was actually a mole and was working for this shadowy evil mastermind who from the looks of his clothes seemed like a Pirate. The main character was a blond young male who kinda looked like Luke Skywalker he even had a white shirt with a v neck on.

It's probably Les voyages de Corentin.

I happen to remember this one show with yellow rabbit puppets, and I think one of them wore a purple shirt. I vaguely remember it being called Don’t Disturb the Neighbors, or something along those lines.

Don’t Eat The Neighbours.

Hmm, maybe it’s Harry and the Wrinklies?

I just had the television on when I was about to go to work and I wasn't thinking about recording it at the time anyways there was this scene where there were three men with suitcases and they got to an enemy base so one of the men was singing to distract the guards. The guards came closer and the suitcase was a bomb and exploded him and the guards. A battle starts and they use their suitcases as weapons and there is a female villain with a female robot with pigtails and robot dogs. Both the female robot and the robot dogs get destroyed and thats when I left for work.

It is! Thank you! And apparently there were a few thing I didn't remember about it, other than the name...

Welcome! Fun show, loved it as a kid.

Now that I think of it, I have some shows I'm trying to find too. I remember watching one as a kid. Show would have been from the 90s, roughly. It had this kid and his three (maybe four) siblings, two brothers one sister. As they're going along, they vanish, and the kid somehow winds up in this medieval world and gets help from a husband and wife. Every now and then it'd cut away to two villainous figures on horseback.
Something, something, something, the kid finds his siblings in a cave, where there's this big, weird orb hovering nearby, and his siblings are in a trance chanting: "Don't touch it, don't hurt it". The kid bursts it and they go free. There was a sequel series back on Earth, where a unicorn was running around, and for whatever reason, they had to get it to sing. Towards the end, the kid asks "When does the unicorn sing?" and he's told "When it dies." So, they kill it.

There's a live action TV show that I just can't remember the name of. The premise is that this guy gets into an accident with his wife and son. After the guy wakes up from a coma, there's two realities; one where his wife died in the accident, but his son lived. In the other reality, his son died but his wife lived. Everytime he goes to sleep, he switches between realities. He even has different therapists in each reality
The protagonist was also a detective. I think it aired in either the late 2000's or the early 2010s. It only lasted for one season.

There was this animated film that I saw on tv when I was a kid, it was about this group of misfit and poor anthro children that got on an abandoned ship looking for a lost treassure. I remember specifically that leader of the runts fell in love with a posh rich cat girl that happen to join their little adventure, while the only female of their group had feelings for him. When I try to Google it I kept getting "Cat's Don't Dance" which after half an hour I gave up.

That sounds really interesting, actually. Too interesting for the droolcup that is modern television. I'm surprised it even made it to air.

When I was a kid, I saw this TV movie, might have also been a feature length pilot for a TV show.
Looked like it was from the late 80's at the latest, based on the footage quality.

The protagonist's wife boards a plane to go back home. In the middle of the flight, the plane suddenly disappears from the radars and all communication is lost. A few hours later, it appears again and safely lands.
The woman goes home and reunites with her husband, everything seems fine. All of a sudden, she attacks him, he fights her and a piece of her skin falls off (after getting hit with something heavy, I think), revealing that she's a robot.
He destroys her and then he goes on a quest to find out that's happening.
Turns out that during the time when the plane disappeared, every passenger was replaced with a robot.
The movie ends on a cliffhanger, without the guy finding out who's behind it all but continuing his quest (hence why I think this might have been a pilot for a series).

I've asked around online about this thing for many years but, as far as I know, I'm the only one who has seen it.
Even people on various sci fi/horror forums didn't know what I was talking about.
Maybe it flopped and there was no follow up but even so, I would like to rewatch it and find out what was planned, I need to know the conclusion.

Anybody?
