She blubbers a lot about black lives but she dumped her oldest son on another man who is not his father and only talks about her younger son as if he’s a prop. I’m sure it diminishes their already low self esteem to see their mother care about random strangers more than them. Also, if the majority of her “activism” is online, her kids aren’t going to see it. If she wanted to do noticeable activism, she’d be volunteering at shelters and prisons and speaking with local lawmakers about new legislation to help those in need (not that she’d be good at it, but it would be something). If anything, her current version of activism is worse for everyone and it would be better for her to be quiet than be a hypocrite.

Aside from that, she should really focus on her kids and get a decent job (that has steady pay). That is more valuable than whatever work she’s claiming to do for others. Kids are important and well raised kids do a lot for making a better society. Change starts in the home, and Tess needs to change for her kids if she ever hopes on having a meaningful relationship with them in a future.
