Here is an interesting concept.
My take based on my research is the following:

Catalyst: 2008 Obama Election
The election of Barrack Obama in 2008 was the trigger for the events we see today. It wasn't obvious at the time that his election would cause a massive civil war within the left. Center-left (colorblind, neo-liberaL) wanted to say that the election of Obama meant we have finally achieved a post-racial society. The Far left (SJWs) saw his election as a sign that white America (white supremacy aka white people) had finally been defeated, the future of America is non-white and a rallying cry to do more through enacting diversity and inclusion policies (aka order 66 to finish ethnically cleansing whites from America.)

At first it was possible to ignore this schism but OWS triggered the inevitable civil war. OWS too white . OWS was an implicitly white movement that focused on economic grievances of the [liberal] white middle class. But because they were inclusive, they allowed blacks to enter and the blacks said, "shit nigga this movement doesn't represent us. fuck the police." The white middle-class have nothing in common with street niggers and as a result this movement collapsed and out of it BLM was born. This marked the SJWs taking over the grassroots community. From then they only got stronger.

The skeptic community and alt-light did a good job fighting against the SJWs; they got Trump elected. The SJWs felt completely defeated Nov 16. But Trump didn't push any far-right policies in 2017, he just did tax cuts for the rich; he governed as a George Bush or Ronald Reagan and the left saw this as weakness. 2018+ they doubled-down on all their rhetoric and pushed harder: Alex Jones deplatforming, Kavanaugh Hearing, Migrant Caravan, Covington Catholic, Jessie Smollett, The Squad and eventually the Jogger, Central Park Karen and Fentanyl Floyd "I can't breath" narrative. Today they're pushing for defund the police, decriminalize border crossings, white privilege education, destroy Mt. Rushmore, etc.

It's obvious the center-left, center-right paradigm is dead. Even the normies are starting to realize that their society is changing, You have to take a stand, either you celebrate diversity, celebrate the ethnic cleansing of white people from The West or you fight against diversity, join the white nationalism movement. The far left will not allow you to have your center-left/center-right 2000 America or even 2016 America.
