Sometimes I dwell on the ephemerality of modern social media feeds. Twitter, in particular, is a place where thousands of tweets -- or even tens of thousands -- can vanish in an instant. This can happen temporarily when someone protects their account, or permanently when they suffer the wrath of the Trust & Safety Team.

This is of concern to me when I consider the situation of Ethan Ralph, who has made over 73,000 tweets as of the time of this post -- an average of over 21 tweets per day since he joined Twitter in February 2010. Those, at least, are the tweets that remain viewable on his timeline, excluding what he may have deleted. It is an impressive level of dedication, and I felt that I should archive a record of it for the ages.

Thus, I have made use of some kiddie scripts to download Ethan Ralph's entire fucking timeline as a CSV file. In addition to that, I have been saving every photo posted to Ethan Ralph's timeline, a simple list of Ethan Ralph's Twitter followers, and a detailed list of the Twitter accounts that Ethan Ralph himself follows. The timeline, follower list, and following list are attached; he posted almost 10,000 fucking photos but I can try to upload it all somewhere if requested. If you would like to make your own use of the tools I employed for this endeavor, refer here.

Because then it's a matter of law and things are less in the hands of her father.

If the father otherwise steps in to directly disrupt this, he may indeed ruin the relationship between ER and Faith, but remember from his perspective it's more about keeping his little girl safe from any future "Ethan Ralph" as well. Whatever rebel streak that convinced Faith that this was a great idea isn't going away by daddy coming in to drag her back home, in fact it will probably just intensify her desire to make spectacular self-destructive life choices. Next time (and there would be a next time) she might choose to run off with someone even worse.

No, he is doing the smarter thing now imo, his best hope is that this is a lesson she learns fast enough that it doesn't fuck up her entire life.

I’ve thought before that it would be interesting if his tweets were automatically scraped into the thread and posted by @theralph or similar. His Twitter feed is essentially a series of off-site KF replies anyway as of late.

Yeah, after listening to the interview in full (I was busy with something else when it was live) I'd put money on it being TF.
