Could it be that he's too shallow and selfish to care for an elderly pet? Too vain to have anything but a cute, energetic puppy as an accessory? Both?

I remember when my own dog got old. He was pretty much blind and senile at the end. He'd forget where he was and he'd piss everywhere because he would forget when it was time to go outside for the bathroom. Was it sad and frustrating? Of course. But I never treated my dog differently because I loved him and wanted to make him comfortable. I made sure he was always clean and fed and well-loved even when I knew his time was coming. And I'm not alone--every decent dog owner acts the same way when their pet becomes elderly.
Do you honestly think Greg, sociopathic animal-killing fuck that he is, will have the love and patience to look out for Dobbs when the dog is no longer of use to him?

Nothing makes me wish for something to bust open his waterhead more than his treatment of animals. So I'm here for your rant.
You know you're a piece of shit not worthy of oxygen if someone has to literally rack their brain trying to discern how many pets you've gotten rid of/killed/abused. I'm going to try to get a list going. But I'm sure I'll miss some.
1. The dog he had with Shiloh who he got rid of after their breakup, IIRC. He claimed he wouldn't give the dog to her because some nonsense about how she made the dog do sexual shit to her which I know is a sick, perverted lie that could have only been concocted in Greg's deranged waterhead.
2. Tortoise that he murdered by leaving it underneath a plastic tub in the scorching sun.
3. Guniea pigs that were neglected and mistreated to such a degree that Madison stood up to Greg and told him he needed to take better care of them. He refused and told her that if she wanted them to be cared for, she would need to take them. Which she graciously did.
4. Chickens that I've read he killed somehow as a child?
5. The fish we've seen sitting on his greasy desk next to a fucking window in a tiny tank covered in scum, so green you can't see through it.
6. Caterpie the little black dog he and Foot got as the IRS shit started to pop off so they could use her in videos to try and gain sympathy bux. Sarah confirmed they gave her to the pound.

There may be a 8th, tragically. No one has seen the beautiful Great Pyrenees mix they got within the last year in a long time. She used to be seen in the background of photos and videos, but it's been many months. It fucking enrages me, because they brought her home not long after removing two other precious dogs from the only home they've ever known, sending at least one (but probably both) to the fucking pound , no less. But they decide bringing home this giant dog was a totally good idea, obviously having done NO research into this breed and what it means to properly care for one. Great Pyrenees have been bred for generations to be a working dog. They have a strong instinct to roam and escape. This happens even to the best of dog owners. If you follow a local missing/found pet page on Facebook you've probably seen many posts regarding this breed. Yet these fucking morons decide that this is the breed they're going to get even though they couldn't even properly care for a tortoise. She hasn't been mentioned or seen in months so I strongly suspect she's gone.
I'm truly even more MOTI now than when I began this post. And heartbroken.

Even if he wasn't an abusive animal owner and is 100% telling the truth, many small dog breeds were bred to hunt small prey. Dachshunds are ESPECIALLY interested in hunting, and are stubborn when it comes to training. Getting a small hound and getting mad that it likes to hound is absurd.
