I'm not so sure. Yeah, some fans will fall away. Some have with all his antics, but enough stay and ignore or justify the poor actions. They probably would justify it in their minds as Rand got banned from DLive so it hurt Ralph so it's ok to release it. See the current flag justifications for example. It's a team.
