Containment What will happen when Barb dies?

Barb is guaranteed to die in the house, so I really wonder what Chris is gonna do with the corpse. My bet is on panic and sacrifice her to the hoard

Hypothetically speaking, and not at all planning this, but on a scale of 1 to 10 how Ween would it be to attend the funeral in a Pickle costume but try to act like a figment of Chris's imagination?
If you pulled it off without a hitch it would be hysterical. But you'd have to be classy about it, at least as classy as you could get in this situation. Worst case scenario, you stutter like a retard, do the shuffle of shame away from the funeral, and get your own thread. If you or someone else is serious about it, please do it. So yeah, you could be a solid 0 or an 11 on that scale

That's not too far off from what would probably happen. Bard dies, Chris thinks she's sleeping longer than usual when she becomes part of the hoard by default. It's happened to far more sensible people.

There's nothing graphic in that link. Just an example.... He'll definitely handle the aftermath differently however.

The idea is funny but, my opinion funerals are crossing the line for messing with lolcows. Even in the most aggressive trolling days when Bob died they left Chris alone for a bit. A recording of Chris talking about Bob dying was never made public as he was genuinely upset and crying as opposed to his fake crying and pouting he's known for. I don't think Null gives a fuck anymore and I doubt KF would do anything but it would be in bad taste. I'm fucking curious as all hell who shows up to the next chandler funeral though.

my bet is chris moves in with new mommy trollspergs and spends his life crafting shitty trinkets with model magic as a tardslave.

Barb dying will be the "in" that new weens need to really get to Chris. He won't take much convincing to become An Hero and join his parents as Sonichus in glorious Cartoon Land.
Chris loves himself too much to go through with suicide. Besides, he's convinced he's immortal.

If he thinks he's immortal he could easily be tricked into AnHero'ing. Dude has a sub 80 IQ.

I really don't see that happening @Argh My Cigar , has it right. Chris loves himself too much to intentionally harm himself. I'm of the minority belief he doesn't actually beleive himself to be a goddess, I'm struggling to find the words but, I think he knows deep down the merge is false, it's a state of half denial. The same way he thought he had multiple personality disorder but, he realized he was just lying to himself eventually. He knows this merge/god thing is all a fictitious thing setup by JW, Null painfully slowly explained this all to him yet he chose to build his life on it; I think we can all see why Null is so dissapointed in Chris after helping him so much. I think this is half denial half attention like anything else Chris does.

I'm not saying it's likely, I'm just saying it's possible. I've never thought he 100% believed his own stuff because I'm not aware of him having a Schizophrenia diagnosis. He's clearly mentally ill and Autistic but I do see his behavior (at least over the past few years) as largely being attention seeking. Maybe I just don't understand how someone could create a work of fiction and simultaneously believe in it but that seems like the sort of disassociation only achievable through Schizophrenia. I've always seen the Chris-Trans bs as being attention seeking in particular.

People say that I don't believe hes truly Schizo, he just has no conscience/empathy. Its not even his work of fiction it was JW's. I think there is a very real possibly he would let Barb starve to death or die of some kind of exposure he doesn't have the emotional capability to care like a normal person. I was mortified when there was the video where Bob is allegedly moaning in his deathbed and Chris keeps on in troon mode.

the most we will get is some witness at the funeral telling us what happened.
If a service is even held. Barb has a crypt reserved and that’s about it; even cremations without services can go as high as $3,000 in VA. The frugal option (cardboard box urn covered in plastic) still averages about $850. There wouldn’t be any need for a viewing anyway— Barb alienated pretty much everyone in her life. Just expect Chris to reach out to every single IRL contact the moment a doctor tells him the bad news.

Looking at the "Chris and death section" of the CWCki under Bob, looks like Chris will treat Barb's death the same way as his dad's; legit mourn her, later make posts on how her ghost will torment Chris's haters and later make Barb come back as Barbchu. All the while, the bank and Greene County Sheriffs will make plans on when to evict Chris.

the most we will get is some witness at the funeral telling us what happened.

I wonder if some ween will livestream it?

Who though. Barbs alienated her entire family and they don't seem like the most Internet savvy people in the first place. I guess Anna and Kim/Emily could come to comfort Chris but I don't know if they're still in touch with Chris or Chris would invite them in the first place. Chris could have some kind of open funeral/wake open to the community and the place would flooded with weens/enablers/ and a few people genuinely wanting to comfort Chris. I don't know what is more sad; Chris attending the funeral alone or Chris posting drawings of him and his imaginary friends at the funeral.

I got to say I agree with the thought of Chris attending the funeral alone(assuming it is a funeral he wants) would be quite sad. I don't hate him, though I wouldn't go so far as to say I like him either. Anyone who has had a roommate that they like move out, or a girlfriend who leaves, that finding yourself alone in a place when they're gone is a weird experience. Whatever acquaintances he has left being around just to make sure he's not alone, it'll be a big help for him to adjust so he doesn't entirely retreat into his mind like Sarah Goldfarb from Requiem for a Dream.

Anything else is weenery, and we reserve the right to ridicule them.

Kim hasn't seen Chris in like 2 years, and he recently realized that she had been a troll. Anna might go (she did visit Chris a few years ago), but she still lives in Utah. Some nice church people will probably attend at Rocky's behest (assuming she's alive still) just so Chris won't be completely alone, and maybe some more local-ish enablers like Copitz. If he hadn't alienated his Pokemon friends, they'd probably go.

(Sorry for technically double-posting.)

I've been browsing around on Zillow for a couple of hours, and, for whatever reason, decided to pull up 14BC. A few years ago, they didn't even bother with an estimated value, but they have one now - $180K - which seems fairly optimistic. (Although considering the value of neighboring properties, it might be close to that if the Chandlers actually took even the slightest care of it.) However, this is slightly good news for Chris.

About two years ago, Barb apparently told Chris, who told Null, that the mortgage still had $108K on it. Barb takes around $900/month from Chris to pay the mortgage. If the mortgage was at about $115K four years ago, and $108K two years ago, it's reasonable to assume it's around $101K now.

The house is in Barb's name, unless she has added Chris to it, which I sincerely doubt. Barb was sued four years ago in two cases for $21K in credit card debt; presumably, this is lower now, but I'm going to assume it's roughly $20K still because Barb is white trash (also, we don't know what other debts she has, and I'd be extremely surprised if this was all).

Just because of the condition of the house - it will most likely have to be gutted once Snorlax's creditors seize it upon her death - I'm going to go a bit more to the extreme end and knock $60K off the estimated value, placing it at $120K at the most. (It could easily be more or less, but I'm going to be optimistic and assume that the Hoard and dog shit/piss hasn't completely fucked it up.) If the numbers from my second paragraph are accurate, each monthly mortgage payment takes about $291.67 off of the total mortgage value.

The only total unknown is if Barb has additional debts. In the unlikely chance that she just has the $20K from Discover and Capital One (and assuming no additional costs relating to the house or her other debts are incurred), one could calculate a point at which Chris receives a very small amount of money (rather than the nothing he'd get if Barb dropped dead today), which would increase every month that Barb lives (and that's assuming they don't royally fuck up again). He'd still have to leave 14BC, but something like that could help him go elsewhere.

One can obviously make the argument that Chris would be better getting out of 14BC and away from Barb as soon as possible, but, realistically, he isn't going to do that. There are also a lot of other factors involved which could complicate this, making it all the more likely that Chris is just going to have to walk away from 14BC with nothing but as many of his toys as he can carry.

(If Chris has been added to the mortgage, then that's a different story, but this is honestly very unlikely.)

TL;DR, there are limited scenarios in which Chris gets a small amount of money after creditors take 14BC, but this is still extremely unlikely all things considered. This depends on them not fucking up too badly, how much additional consumer debt Barb has, how badly they've fucked up the house, and how long Barb ultimately ends up living.
