I mean to be fair, I've been part of the Spyro fandom for at least a decade and it can be cesspool of "toxicity" fuck I hate that word. Especially the subreddit. I deliberately steer clear of it to avoid drama, because they're a nitpicking, elitist, entitled pack of assholes who even went to the extent of attacking one of the lead concept artists for Reignited on Twitter for being a "soy boy" and "ruining their childhood" for changing the designs of the original game lmao. So I get why Manda had issues with them .......... but like, at the same time i get why they ostracised her. she's a fucking freak lol
Don't get me started on the lawsuit someone was going to file on a Spyro fanzine organiser. They wouldn't allow her to contribute because she drew "child pornography" (spyro porn), she got pissed and yeah, threatened to file a lawsuit against a fan project for rejecting her application. i think manda applied to work on that zine too actually. i'll have to look through my files. i remember seeing her application and it looked skeevy and kind of fetishy to me but i didn't think much of it at the time.
