Nice to see Alex keeps his priorities consistent.

This is why I'm not posting images of the Moon from Majora's Mask. You're obviously too busy setting a new email address on all of your embarrassing accounts instead of working on that thing you promised to complete years ago.

I'm actually thinking about using Links as my web browser. I don't mind if a program is heavier than the other options as long as it provides some sort of benefit in return, and I just think that GNU nano is the best text editor for programming once you read the documentation. Back to Alex, his code is shit and I would not have sex with him.

EDIT: Just tried out Links graphic mode, kind of sucks balls. Would not recommend.
Isn't vim better?

He already should remake a lot of the code. But, game engine coding as well as GPU power evolves very quickly. There is actually a point where the engine and game code will simply become too out-dated, and either look like old garbage on release.
Alex is fine in this regard because he's using an actively developed game engine. Engines like this make upgrading projects mostly simple and painless (compared to the alternative), and they go to great lengths to limit the amount of API breakage across updates. As we've talked about before, YS is a game that is small enough in its scope that it doesn't require any cutting edge, radical design paradigms to succeed. Alex merely needs to be able to refactor his code so that it follows the journeyman level that is found in the basic documentation for any of the engines. He doesn't need to be an expert, he just needs to be merely slightly competent and the passive benefits of using an engine written by experts should be able to handle the rest.

not be compatible on modern systems
That won't happen in his lifetime. Anyone who writes stuff specific enough to a particular hardware configuration to make it truly incompatible with future systems is not targeting a general audience and also smart enough to fix said incompatibility should they wish. Writing software in living engines that deliberately abstract the hardware entirely gives the software an incredibly long lifetime. (Backward compatibility has been a primary driver in hardware and software design for a very long time. As an example, Intel x64 is backward compatible all the way to 16 bit instructions from x86 introduced in 1978.)

Only people who open a text editor once a month actually take nano seriously.

I see you're confident that Alex will release Yandere Sim in the next 20 years.

I use it daily.

Most programmers prefer it because it's capable of more, but nano is a lot more capable than people give it credit for. I'm not using 5x the amount of memory for a text editor that's notoriously hard to use just to use the exact same features I use in nano.

I know just the basics of vim but I always use nano for quick editing in a terminal.

Thank you, Inspect Element.

This post really stood out to me. Having majored in English, the way this is worded is just so peculiar.

"First of all, I would never use such an infantile term as a "sex doll" -- this is implying that sex dolls are in fact not infantile, and thus deserving more respect than something immature.

" -- (the people slandering/misrepresenting me) assume that it's a secret that I have a sex doll. It's not a secret." Just the framing on this is so goofy to me. Followed up with "I do not '''have'' a sex doll. Nor was she named Mai Waifu." And then the cherry on top of the blackmail, guilt-tripping people.

The weird mixing of tenses gives me a deep sense of turmoil. Also, he's going about it in a weird loophole sort of way. He could argue that the doll had no name, but a nickname he gave it was Mai Waifu. Regardless, he never specified he never had a sex doll in the past and would also never get one, and got weirdly defensive about owning one, or how to refer to them respectfully (lol?) You could even argue that he does not have a 'sex doll' because those are juvenile, but instead he has a Fantastic Plastic Partner or whatever the fuck he'd call it. This would also be correct.

Even if I didn't know a thing about yandev or his drama I would be certain this man did in fact have a sex doll at one point, and he was really self conscious about it now that it's put on blast.

Why are you typing a wall of text analyzing a fake shitpost?

It ain't that deep fam. Learn how to uncover a spoilered text for a surprise.

Might be too unrelated, I suck dicks if so, but if you know who Cyber 8 is, he's working on memeing Alex too. It might be worth looking out for in the future considering the edgy autism he's known for.

holy fucking shit, Troon Yandev, my fucking eyes

Alexia will be fully implemented before Osana. Feelsgoodman.
