Twitch streaming star and internet personality Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys has reacted to the current buzz around the #pokimanesboyfriend hashtag on Twitter — and her response is nothing less than pure gold.

While the subject of Pokimane’s love life has always been a subject of interest for fans (with many pairing her with other streamers like Hasan), things kicked up a notch after YouTuber ‘LeafyisHere’ published a video criticizing her content — as well as claiming she has been hiding her boyfriend from fans.

“If you ever happen to come across one of her big time fans on your way to the grocery store or whatnot ...be sure to remind them that she has a boyfriend, because I think that they would really love to hear that little piece of information,” Leafy said.

Soon after, the hashtag #pokimaneboyfriend began trending across Twitter, with many fans speculating as to who the mysterious man could be — if there even was one.

However, Pokimane herself joined in on the shenanigans in a post of her own — and it’s safe to say that she’s not taking the issue all too seriously.

In response to the hubbub surrounding her romantic life, the streamer uploaded a photo of herself standing next to a cardboard cutout of former U.S. president Barack Obama.

“It’s time to come clean,” she captioned the hilarious pic, clearly unbothered by the rampant outrage and rumors concerning her private affairs.

Pokimane herself has been quite open about how she would treat her love life if she did get into a serious relationship, claiming that she wouldn’t put her romance online.

“I don’t know if I would like, really want to put my relationship out there one I get into one,” she stated in a June 2019 Q & A video. “For example, I’m sure you’ve seen a lot of couples out there who make their relationship public. ...when they break up, they have to make that public, too. I don’t know if I wanna go through that, know what I’m saying?”


No matter the case, it doesn’t look like this streamer is going to break under critics’ watchful gaze — and she’s certainly not going to peep about her private life to strangers online.

How brainless, vain and selfish all these cunts are will turn entire generations of men into incels. Like imagine growing up with twitch thots and egirls being the most well known female public figures, their entire existence dedicated not to actually providing a product or any real value, no talent to speak of, just leeching money out of any pathetic man willing to pay them just for existing as a woman who knows how to look good on camera. Will men who grow up in a society like that come out with positive views on women? I highly doubt it and it's not good for women either, we're already starting to see girls turning 18 and then immediately starting up an onlyfans or slutty instagram page so they can be just like Belle Delphine or some other whore who inspired them.

Honestly, I’m not even sure why there’s controversy over Pokimane having a boyfriend. This is a super common reoccurring theme among tons of teen idols(especially Asian idols), and twitch streamers.

I think it was amoranth who hid the fact she was engaged and one of her mods had a complete meltdown because he thought he had a chance with her. I don’t expect the average person to understand idol culture, but you would think after multiple titty streamers get exposed for hiding their relationships people would eventually learn.

Not really a surprise, the whole e-thot situation is the western version of idols from the east, if you look at the Idol industry of Japan and Worse Korea you can see shit like contracts demanding in VERY strict terms that the idols DO NOT have intimate relationships (or just boyfriends) because their incels (who are also the paypigs spending the millions that move the industry) would be discouraged if they are not available as romantic/sexual dolls, there's been multiple scandals where idols have boyfriends under the wraps and once it gets aired by a paparazzi they literally get booted out because it means incel won't buy her shit anymore, the e-thot situation here in the west is a bit different since the e-thot manage their finances by themselves but the same tactics apply

Typical man 🙄 Putting all the blame on Pokimane. Anyone that is pathetic enough to send her money, and think she hasn’t already got a boyfriend (who is encouraging her to milk the incels and simps of their money) actually deserves to be milked of their money.
