I don't think that's going to fly in court if they don't give them permission to use their work. Pretty scumfuck move to just up and take all the assets, seemingly without asking any of the volunteers themselves how they felt about it.

And, uh... is this a serious question? If a game like this is going to be any good, it's got to be made by someone seriously weird and creepy. But obviously less lazy and incompetent, otherwise we'll end up with another Alex...
 
Not much new info in this video, just him posting most the thing that Alex took from the store (i mean "create" himself) for the game, but just sharing for the fact that Alex don't know how to use textures or just making a 3D plane to put a texture, so basically made an object of 25k polys to make a poster.

Jesus Christ. This is what you get when you use the loop cut tool in blender with an autoclicker turned on. I was expecting simple subdivision abuse, but this is so much worse.
Christ I know. What's so wrong about evening the fucking spaces too? No just save time to play the fucking vidya, autoclick and loop. After all this won't affect the game's framerate right?

I don't expect much from Mahan at this point, but if the posters are this bad and the whole thing with the toothbrush (which was apparently fixed?) keep happening then no doubt people will just keep finding worse and worse shit.

You don't just fuck something up so badly you end up with 25K polygons on a flat surface on accident....do you?

Edit: Excuse me it turns out that Mahan might've stolen the posters which would explain why they have such high polygon counts.

Honestly, I don’t know shit about coding or making video games, and I’ve only ever taken one web design class in my life, but the whole thing is fun to see as a way to not go about making something, even in the context of “it’s okay to just create something in your spare time as a hobby”.

This is hilariously impressive. Just slap down a plane and stretch it out and there's your poster. More polys does not always equal better looking and if he did want it subdivided more, there are easy options for that. All you have to do is input numbers, no scripts needed.
