What does involve education is the 10th amendment, leaving it up to the states and these days, the shitty DoE. Most universities are, however, private non-profit functions, not public sector. Their status as tax exempt exists on a whim under Section 501(c)(3), which Trump can actually potentially make changes to. Either take away or add hurdles to, whatever he chooses to.

Seeing him post shit like this and then remembering he wrote for stuff like Marvel and the Atlantic and my stomach turned. I thought the black community will help each other and bring each other up, not mistreat people for being different, ok they sadly already do that with white people so there's that. Which sucks. Young people traditionally don't vote - this may be the thing that gets them to do it. And they won't vote for Trump if they do. That's why he should let the damn thing go.
