If I read his post right he's saying he did not apply for unemployment because he was making enough to get by without it, not that he was not eligible-he even uses the words "laid off" verbatim. Honestly I think it is a tossup whether he was too lazy to apply for NEETbux or if he got fired for cause and lied to himself + Mommy about it being a layoff to save face since we know he was a problem employee.

All that being said his mother must be a real fucking piece of work if she thinks asking for gibs you objectively do not need is a good thing.

So I been following the escapades of DSP for at least 8 years, While his gameplay is pretty stock standard and average the whole detractor theme that surrounds him is funny and how he reacts with the sort of love hate relationship with it. Definitely not the best out there he does provide IMO adequate content for those who watch him. His gameplay is real his skills at said game are on par with the average gamer.

He has come a long way from the 2010 era, Twitch keeping him on a leash and his new wife seem to have shaped him into a somewhat passable person. I am glad that he exists and hope he continues on with his existence. Probably my favorite video of him was when he did a money match in MvC2 vs Mixup after talking shit on the Shoryuken boards back in the day and got completely demolished by him.

Did anyone see the stream the other night where he was asked if he face times his parents? He said several years ago he did it a couple of times, but then his parents had some technical issue and his mom immediately got frustrated and yelled at his dad to fix it and after she decided she never wanted to both with face time again because of that one technical issue. The more I hear about Mama Burnell the more DSP’s attitude makes sense.

No you understood him correctly, and yes he is that stupid. From what posters way upthread could tell the single business line should be able to support his streaming + Leanna or Khet playing online concurrently even though he could only take a partial deduction.

there are no deals where it's cheaper to have two lines. there are deals where you pay less per-line if you have two of them through the same company, but a company isn't going to arbitrarily give you two lines of business for less than the cost of a single line of business.

So Popsicolo streamed yesterday and I lurked to see if I could learn anything and boy is he cringe and depressing. Here are the highlights:

1. He always planned on leaving as mod and if it wasn’t the DMCA it would be something else. He is tired of being associated with Phil and said if he could go back in time and change things he wouldn’t be his mod.

2. He felt he could finally be safe enough to “air his problems” with Phil which were mainly things like snorting and burping on mic. It felt like the most bottom of the barrel complaints.

3. He isn’t happy with where his life is going and said cringey cliché stuff like “new year new me” and “just because the world is falling apart doesn’t mean I can’t be the best me!”

4. He said meeting John Rambo in person “changed his life forever” as if he met Elvis or someone else significant.

5. He has “accepted” he will never be a big time career streamer.

6. He said he discovered Phil through his Fallout 3 vid where he slaughtered that town in Fallout which was “the funniest thing ever” and “even funnier than pickle rick.”

7. Someone in chat asked about Pearl Burnell and he went through explaining how it wasn’t his account on steam and youtube because he doesn’t like having user names with numbers in the name and isn’t popsicolo on steam. He also explained how the person we think was underage on that prestream slide is an irl friend who is his age and the slide is some reference to an anime scene and art style. He proved it by also showing a picture of kekon.

Overall, it felt really weird. It was like he was acting like he was on Inside the Actor’s Studio talking about his craft, but he is some obscure mod a dozen people on twitch even know. As for the pedo stuff, I don’t know what to make of it. He talks very monotone and socially awkward so he is hard to read. Since there is nothing as incriminating as the Derich youtube playlist I’m just gonna say personally I don’t know. It wouldn’t be hard to frame him with that and I personally think calling someone a pedo is a serious accusation. I guess it comes down to what your reasonable doubt is.

Sorry for this long autistic post, just thought I should share to save people time and so my effort wasn’t a waste.
