Read the "home" page, didn't laugh once.
Saw this at the bottom, I laughed out loud.

I like how they rewrote every single debunk.

As far as I can tell the Heartbreak project is still going. After they changed leadership they shifted focus to a VN. The thread suggests Nar was still involved in some small way, but he soon left completely. They've apparently stopped giving such frequent updates to avoid spoilers.

But yeah, he never finished it.
heartbreak is pretty much just nar's shitty ideas rewritten, made into a 2d VN, and its going to be a parody of 'yandere games'
i know because im working on it and asking them to change the name so its not associated with this dipshit

And yet he boasts he "knows what he's doing" on his youtube profile.

"Trust me, I know what i'm doing" Ok so basically Apeis confessed he doesn't know what he is doing, kinda sad because a few weeks i was lowkey rooting for the dude but he evolved so quickly into Alex twin that is incredible.

"Excessive extent"
Doesn't say where he learnt this info or how much time he spent studying. You could study a language for 24 continueous hours, however, you are barely going to scratch the surface of the basics of the language.

As someone that "knows" C#/C++ (mostly C#, since i haven't kept reading my C++ material) it only takes a few days to "understand" the syntax and mostly to do some basics app (i.e console excercises) it would take like a week to mostly to translate that basic knowledge to unity C# (i.e reading about unity's methods since you don't really use pure C# in Unity) to put together something, now it would take a month to wrap your head around OOP and SOLID principles and more like six months or so (if you're really invested in reading about design patterns and you practice in you free time)

But as far as i've seen Apeis just spent around one or two hours watching some Unity tutorials and slap together something and posted just thrive in the hype, and now he will become a major dumpster fire than YS (mostly because he is in the spotlight and the weebs are treating him like some kind of savior)

This is why its good to collaborate with others and write code with the mindset that others will have to work with it and understand it in the future. You write better code, and the extra eyes help you gain more insight into doing things better. This guy taught himself the basics (probably not everything), then worked in a bubble for years. Hes incredibly childish and insecure going by how he acts, so he cannot take any sort of critique even if its constructive.

Nothing wrong with learning yourself and not going to college for some disciplines (Frankly I think its the best way to learn), but you have to keep learning, taking feedback, understanding your weak spots. Hes so arrogant and insecure that he's incapable of doing any of that.

Many can go with this "Fake it til you make it" sort of thing, and I'll give him credit he was good at building hype and faking certain things with his youtube channel and presentation. He'd probably be a decent marketer honestly. Unfortunately for most people who do this it eventually catches up to them in someway. For him, his behavior is finally getting picked up by more and more people, its becoming less likely his supporters won't hear the truth. Many of his supporters are young and naive or just don't pay attention to the drama so I can see this lasting him maybe a couple more years with his income dwindling.

Also to write the code with the mindset that you're going to forget shit.
Comments are not just your friends, but your lifelines.
I haven't seen Apeis's code, but I doubt he comments as much as he needs to.

Since @Feathers and Stones pointed out that YanDev had a Patreon account at the time of the leaks, I asked my data analytics team to prepare an executive summary for me.

The Patreon goals at the time were same as now, except that the $5000 "transparency posts" level didn't exist. The membership levels are the same as now.
The Patreon was not marked as NSFW at the time (it is now)

At the time of the leaks (October 2015), the Patreon was making $4365.30 per month, breaking down as follows:

LevelCountValue
$100-11015
$1501.00
$11-$5035
$826.51
$6-$1071
$683.66
$5133
$665.00
$1.25-$4.99136
$344.33
$1343
$343.00
Less than $18
$1.80
TOTALS741
$4365.30

There weren't any notable one-off donations in the deleted pledges history, mostly just existing pledgers adjusting their donations. There don't seem to be any "persons of interest" among the donors - pretty much it was just a bunch of weebs.

EDIT: also, YanDev didn't donate to any projects, and he doesn't seem to have had any other Patreon accounts under his commonly known emails.

Are you implying YandereDev uses stolen art? Like his code.
IIRC Yandev hasn't stolen any code but he has used unity assets which isn't stealing, just to be clear, but in the past, he has used things such as a grass texture for example, from an artist not associated with the project and without permission. His excuse was that it was just a placeholder, however, he photoshopped the artist's watermark from the texture and changed it to an original texture when people made a stink about it, which sounds like he changed it only because he was caught and not because he had any plans to replace it later. I am sure there are other examples, but the grass texture was the one I remember most prominently.

Edit: ninja'd
