U.S. Riots of May 2020 over George Floyd and others - ITT: a bunch of faggots butthurt about worthless internet stickers

Banks predate the internet, industrial revolution, modern medicine, gunpowder age, iron age, and bronze age. How far back are we going? I'd be happy just eliminating social media.
Jesus was turning over the tables of the money changers two thousand years ago. Usury has been a thing since the first cave man traded a smooth rock for grug's finest whore. You can bet the small hat tribe was charging 20 percent interest on the smooth rock.

PORTLAND, Ore. (CN) — The American Civil Liberties Union may soon be the arbiter of who is and isn’t a journalist at Portland protests, with a federal judge floating the idea of requiring journalists to be identified by the organization’s blue vests in order to avoid assault or arrest by federal agents under the court’s temporary restraining order.

Last week, Simon ordered federal agents squaring off nightly with protesters around the Mark O. Hatfield Federal Courthouse to let people identified as journalists (wearing a press pass or clothing with the word “press”) and legal observers (who wear blue ACLU vests or green National Lawyers Guild hats) do their jobs without subjecting them to the use of force, dispersal orders or arrest.

You mean the "observers" are from the ACLU or the NLG? May as well say communists are covering a communist riot.

Completely hypothetically these totems of immunity look rather easy to replicate with perhaps a stencil and a little bit of spray-paint, but more importantly there's plenty of fun that all stems from this hypothetical.

Again, completely hypothetically.

Whenever I hear that stupid ass shit I want to grab the iPhone out of their hand, throw it on the ground and stomp it in front of them.

Perhaps you ought to do just that. What're they going to do if you did? Call the po po?

Just reply after yeeting the SJW's phone that "Perhaps I needed it more than you. After all, I am a marginalized intersex POC."
What're they going to do now? Tell you to pull your pants down for inspection?
GATEKEEPING!
#MeeToo!
Transphobic!
Racist!

And then pat them affectionately on the back and softly whisper in their ear: "Ya did good."

Yes. Like (hypothetically) wearing this and going around the protests with niiice big stacks of job applications and handing them out.

The problem with trying to "fix" society by eliminating any one element, regardless how big or small, is that human progress is inevitable. Sure, maybe humanity would be "happiest" if it were somehow locked in a pre-industrial agrarian society in perpetuity, but our desire to reach out above our current means is inevitable. You can wipe away social media, the internet, hell, all modern technology, but eventually, all that shit will arise again, and we'll be right back where we are now.

I've thought about this a lot, and I honestly don't think there's a happy end for humanity. With our long lifespans, extreme adaptability and the capacity for written language, we were pretty much designed for forward progress. Yet our brains are still running ten thousand year old code optimized for a primitive hunter-gatherer lifestyle where everyone lived in small social groups. Mankind is too smart for its own good.

Now they're all gathered in front of a house. Idk what they are doing besides that, though.

I disagree with you that "progress" that we witness right now is inevitably tied to technological progress. I think it didn't have to be this way. We could have had cool things still without destroying everything that makes the life worth living.

In fact, I think we are really past the peak of technological progress. Just look at the major technological companies right now. What kind of innovation they offer? Do they really raise our standards of life?

Are we really still in love with technology, or we are scared shitless, because we understand how deep and total control it enables without any accountability?

Tom Araya from what I hear isn't that big of lefty shit, he's actually a practicing Roman Catholic despite the Satanic imagery and such from Slayer. A month or two ago his wife got flack for sharing anti-BLM protest memes on her instagram page.

Araya, afters decades of using Satan as a fuck you to fundies, uses the Lord as a fuck you to mainstream society; everything goes full circle.

Apparently women and babies crying, played backwards, is what I've heard they used. Had a friend who went through torture to test their willpower in the Navy and that's what they told me.
So... Black Metal?

Goddamn they're stupid. Blocking traffic doesn't get sympathy and neither does bothering people in their homes. Everyone knows what's going on and doesn't need to be reminded of 'dialogue' 24/7, sorry they're not rètards like the protestors who need a constant stream of reminders of what they're supposed to care about or else they wander off.

Did anyone see the stuff in Portland about gangs of apparent minors attacking people? A few adults seem to be their handlers.

Saw a few videos, pretty terrifying how creepy it is.

Portland stream (Radarbeam) has a long overlay that says "F*ck Ted Wheeler" (censor mine). They're really angry that he wouldn't let them have their CHAZ, huh?
