So I been following the escapades of DSP for at least 8 years, While his gameplay is pretty stock standard and average the whole detractor theme that surrounds him is funny and how he reacts with the sort of love hate relationship with it. Definitely not the best out there he does provide IMO adequate content for those who watch him. His gameplay is real his skills at said game are on par with the average gamer.

He has come a long way from the 2010 era, Twitch keeping him on a leash and his new wife seem to have shaped him into a somewhat passable person. I am glad that he exists and hope he continues on with his existence. Probably my favorite video of him was when he did a money match in MvC2 vs Mixup after talking shit on the Shoryuken boards back in the day and got completely demolished by him.

What is this supposed to be exactly? This is so much odd shit even from a Phil tweet. So for the past couple of months Phil couldn't focus on being "positive" in games because the cancel culture movement was keeping him from doing so? What about all the times he said the past few months have been overwhelmingly positive and supportive?

I also like how he thinks cancel culture is specifically related to the video game industry and people who play video games, it just shows how disconnected he is and only gets his information from the 50 game journalists he follows on Twitter.

Don't forget Phil (since I know you read this forum) you once called Snake a "fag," called a character a "tranny," said "chicky chang wang charlie chang chooka cha" and spouted "turn on the ovens" while imitating a Nazi. So on today's prestream could you please go into detail about how you're uncancel-able because you're a changed person and totally wouldn't call someone a fag if they pissed you off enough. Every time I feel that DSP has an ounce of survival instinct in his chosen profession, he proves me wrong.

Anyone who wants to survive in gaming (well, if they don't have insane luck) probably shouldn't publicly refer to #MeToo as some kind of annoyance that "moves on/out."

Treating the removal of pedos like it's a one-time event and "we're all good now" is an incredibly naive way to look at things. It's like saying "yeah the two week lockdown happened. Corona's gone, right?"
