There's no such thing as a dumb question.

No such thing, I've found myself learning so much over the past 1000-1500 pages, and so often others have asked questions that i had. Between that and some of the very eloquent responses, some very intelligent and kind folks here.
Mane why you pull me over?
Why you searchin my shit?
<a few resistings later>
Yo why yall chasin him?
What they beatin my baby for, he ain't even think the gun was loaded?
<a few trials later>
Why are joggers disproportionately involved in police altercations?
<a few early releases later>
Why yall bothering our block party?
Why are joggers disproportionately impacted by the Wu Flu?

Those aren't questions, they're distractions.

This is the only BLM protest I've encountered in my area to date, in its entirety (from the last week of June):

I like it here.

:hah: that's like the essence of this whole shitshow. A cute white girl in her rebel without a cause phase, and the droog following her around counting the hours until he'll get his first whiff of her crotch.

Based Bulgarians have their thing to say about BLM.
Lmao, you probably know this already, I haven't gotten that far into the comments yet, but these are the fans for the communist soccer team CSKA - ЦСКА, a direct rip off the Soviet Union's military soccer team.

Donald Trump should drag David Clarke out of retirement to make some PSA’s and run some task force on “reforming” police. He’s the black former democrat sheriff of Milwaukee county and hates criminals. He put out PSA’s encouraging people to get guns and to be “decisive” in their response to criminal activity. A real man. “With Wisconsin’s new personal protection act, criminals got to worry about what YOU might do.”

MSNBC called Clarke out for plagiarizing his Master's thesis and piled on to him for a few minutes in this bit but please ignore the part at 1:12 where the reporter mutters the trivial caveat under her breath that "MSNBC did not independently verify this claim"

I've seen it pointed out here that antifa's bible burning and similar behaviors will not mix well with the large amount of black people that are devout Christians.

Has anyone posted this video or anything similar? I found it to be a white pill suppository.

This girl is woke. In a good way. I'm not sure what she means exactly by saying "Conservatives need to tell the truth without looking at skin color," (I took it as talking about culture) but I definitely agree there is racial injustice in America. But it works at a level of local interactions, like drug crime injustice. What she's saying about the white liberal is spot on, but that same person likely hasn't ever popped open a Bible so I'm not sure if her argument would strike home in that regard.

like what? nationwide vote on every proposed piece of legislation? that's impractical as fuck.
the idea to cut out the middle men of career politicians is appealing of course, but in practice it probably would end up making an even bigger mess of things.
Ideally a democratic nation should have a very strong bill of rights so that the majority cant do anything stupid like vote to kill anyone who isnt a certain religion. But I do think that over time in any system peoples rights will start to be eroded. Thats why we need to upload our greatest leaders minds into undying supercomputers to guide future generations or something IDK im off my meds. Or get @Judge Dredd to help us.
Direct Democracy requires even more informed voters, the average person isn't informed"on all issues or even their pet issues often they have bad information they relay on, look at Anti Vaxers, AIDS denialists, AOC, et al.

As far as "online polling", it wouldn't work, electronic systems no matter how secure are able to be compromised.
What about the blockchain? Or is that just a meme like quantum computing?

I don't know that much about Blockchain, but it seems like some time last year a blockchain was compromised or weaknesses (turns out it was Ethereum Classic where someone took control of 51% of their computing power and was rewriting transaction histories) were found in it. I am also suspicious of anything that becomes a buzzword used by marketing types (e.g. "the cloud"), also given the nature of government (and corporate) contracts, I can not see it being "Secure" remember, a kid hacked in to NASA because no passwords or default passwords were used, then you have the Target hack which was from an HVAC system, then the whole fuckery that is/was Equifax).

Blockchain could work, it would actually be ideal for this exact type of scenario if you restricted the "ledger" nodes correctly. The problem is everything would need to be 100% public to prevent fraud. Establishing identity would require the kind of Real ID/government identification systems that the libertarians hate and the left thinks is racist voter suppression because POCs are too dumb to get ID (or something).

If you think cancel culture is bad now, wait until you see what happens without the secret ballot.

If you want to talk about actual cryptography software solutions to anything, referring directly to the Merkle tree structure at the core of a blockchain would probably be better. A blockchain with no cryptocurrency it's keeping track of is just wasting everyone's time.

And almost every person that throws around the word "blockchain" is just using it as a buzzword and likely hasn't even built anything and doesn't plan to.
