A therapist wouldnt automatically be like hey go transition. You work on the distress and what is causing them distress and never push what choice they should make. If they wish to transition it was never done quickly, the normal route was to have them at least spend 6 months living socially as their "new identity" before surgery and shit was even spoken about it.

I apologize about the tomboy comment in relation to Ari. I guess it's what I saw in comparison to Jazz and Jeanette's behavior. And, to be honest, it kind of baffles me that Jeanette pushed aside her daughter who acts like a normal girl aside for Jazz. I think I was trying to find an explanation.

Yea I probly shoulda stated that this is how its supposed to be from how it was before. Now though it definitely isnt that way. I find it insane this continues due to the fact you can't even study the effect it is having on these children because they are "protected populations." Supposedly even asking their feelings about the choices being made will cause them undo harm, probably because it would make them think for themselves for a second.

Maybe that reason is because she's relatively smart and down-to-earth? Or who's able to have an independent life but still be feminine? And she also has a backbone since she probably rejected the idea of her mom controlling her life?

"minor" no, "unconscious"... maybe. Even though she loves jazz, I wouldn't blame her for being pissed narc mommy had a daughter, decided she wasn't good enough so she trooned out her son. Bizarre circumstances breeds bizarre reactions (like being jealous narc mommy isn't paying attention to you) even though from the outside, all the "attention" brings to the golden child is misery and pain.

Imagine being the firstborn, the only girl, a salutatorian, and overall a really nice, normal kid and your own mother decides that your youngest sibling from the moment they were born is 100% more important, valid, and worthy of attention than you. Imagine the pressure of being forced to one day host and bear children so that your entitled stunted sibling can snatch the baby away and parade it as their own. Imagine having every last one of your accomplishments ignored and disregarded but when your youngest sibling starts wailing about how hard it is to cross the street, everyone falls all over him and smothers him with support and attention.

I suspect that the shit will hit the fan when that Ari has a child. Jazz will no doubt lose their place as the treasured child which will not sit well with him. he will hate every moment of Ari's pregnancy as she gains attention and love. Once again Jazz will go into crisis to try to stop the attention from flowing from him. But narc mommy will not be able to fix this with frakenstein surgery. The best she can do is buy jazz a "moon bump (fake baby bump) and a reborn doll.

The distance between the siblings will grow as they marry and start their own families. As parents with innocent babies, they will see even more clearly what has been done to jazz and vow not to let that happen to their child.

Jazz is so socially awkward, so dependent on his mom to fix everything and so clueless about how relationships work. He is at a great risk to be used and manipulated by others because he is so used to someone fixing everything for him.

Is the tv show scheduled to come back at all? I think everyone has lost all interest and that it is now just a stark example of what NOT to do with a mentally ill child.

Not exactly. TLC fired one of the molested girls (Jill) because her husband was a stupid moron and insulted Jazz on Twitter. The Duggars basically disowned those two after that, though ironically enough, they actually seem to be doing better now that they've been cut off from the family.

TLC has continued to show and exploit Jazz's clearly deteriorating mental health and give his horrifically abusive mother a platform.
