Guys, what Ron is trying to do is very very simple and oh so very obvious.
Remember, Ron's response to Vic's lawsuit wasn't to just score a flawless victory and get all his legal fees paid. No; that would have been too easy. Instead it was to vow to "destroy" Vic, then launch an absurd legal attack that resulted in Ron owing hundreds of thousands of dollars because the judge looked at Ron's legal expenses and said "yeah no, you might've won, but that's ridiculous."
Ron spent six figures getting a bunch of stupid gifs and screenshots of affidavit and deposition quotes for the specific purpose of harassing Vic into a grave. By golly he's going to try to get his money's worth.

If Monica expected a con to pay her expenses to bring Ron with her, the "Stan owes Monica money" story has just gotten stupider. Cons very rarely, if at all, cover for travel expenses for a guest's partner. Monica must feel very entitled and out of her mind to think that is the case. Ron isn't important enough to take with you. But I suppose if you leave him alone in the house for too long, he'll piss all over the house...
And sure... Michele was a perfect angel. Ron is trying too damn hard to put this woman on a pedestal. Vic hurt her so damn much that he fucking helped her get her own apartment after breaking up. Michele was so damn hurt that she accepted his help to bailing her out of trouble even when they weren't together. Sure, Ron. Actually what I think Stan is saying is that Monica had an agreement with the convention that she did not realize what it entailed hence the email asking for reimbursement for travel. My theory is she agreed to pay for her own travel to Hawaii which btw she brought Ron with her and the convention provided hotel and food stipend. Given that it was a first year con I bet there wasn't an appearance fee either.

At this point, I'm just half-expecting Ron to cause a scene in the courtroom should the appeals not go his way. He may be such a pussy that he can't "man up" with an "Objection!", but his erratic behavior on social media is concerning, to say the least. He thinks he's on autopilot so he can go beat himself raw, but there's no one at the controls and everything's plummeting fast.
