Found something interesting as I am digging through Unicorn Riot’s Twitter...the so-called Freedom Fighters group has been joining protests to allegedly protect protestors and they patrol neighborhoods.

They are claiming the Minneapolis Police Chief gave them authority to detain people until the police arrive.

They are claiming the Minneapolis Police Chief gave them authority to detain people until the police arrive.

I highly doubt a Police Chief would endorse the action in such a way, a citizen already has a limited legal authority to "detain" people (until the cops arrived), its called a citizen's arrest.

As per MN law

629.37 WHEN PRIVATE PERSON MAY MAKE ARREST.
A private person may arrest another:

(1) for a public offense committed or attempted in the arresting person's presence;

(2) when the person arrested has committed a felony, although not in the arresting person's presence; or

(3) when a felony has in fact been committed, and the arresting person has reasonable cause for believing the person arrested to have committed it.

There is now a BLM mural on a city street in Minneapolis. The group said the city issued a permit. I found information on requesting a public art permit and would love to find a non-profit or community group to back a Blue Lives Matter mural outside a precinct. The city would probably be stupid enough to deny it and then bam, lawsuit.

What‘s so hard about hitting a target anyway? The first time I shot, I could hit critical mass consistently. There are so many things wrong with joggers.

Because they don't train. It's all posturing. People trained in proper firearm usage are trained to respect it. To utilize it to its fullest potential as a means of protection. To use it as a last resort and to make it count. For joggers a gat is similar to gold chains, accessorizing their shoes hats and shirts, hubcaps, or whatever other useless status symbol. It's flair. Utterly antithetical to proper firearm usage.
