I'm really enjoying the burning of r/animemes that continues. Seems like a lot of the memes being posted are focusing on the mods being radio silent to the community but continue to post on trans subs to shit on r/animemes userbase, lots of angry users in the comments of those posts. I have no idea how long this is going to go on for, but it's causing discussion about normies coming into anime and dictating what is and isn't okay. Maybe we'll get a "Weebs rise up!" moment.

Something that these reddit users will have to understand is that they don't matter. Not Reddit, nor twitter, nor youtube, nor any website is a democracy. There's more than enough of people who are willing to stay in line and comply that these websites don't have to worry about dissenters leaving (not that leaving is really an option considering there's no real alternatives).

last time i checked r/drama they were still making fun of chapos and posting triggered communist professors. That sub is just harmless shitposting and they also survived several of the major reddit purges so is natural they got culled in the process and can't overplay their hand, specially when the climate is so extreme at reddit now they have started to eat their own and even feminist and commie subs were closed for being problematic.
