When you classify everything as “white supremacist violence” and claim antifa doesn’t exist, it’s really easy to make that claim.
Same thing with racism. “White people are the only racist people in the country” is an easy claim to make when you redefine racism so narrowly only white people could qualify and by the very definition it’s impossible for white people not to be racist.

I changed my mind. It won't work.

The principle is sound you would have to redesign it though. Move the sensor closer to the eyes, maybe change the sensor so that it senses laser frequencies. (Someone explained that the non visible parts of the laser light are what does the damage. I think it is the same with welding. The brightness isn't doing you any favors but your eyes are getting blasted by a lot of unseen energy as well.)

Rapid prototyping could probably get them designed, built and put into kits for field modification in two weeks (I'm being generous because I have no practical experience in the field myself, just knowledge of it) but I would still be leery of sending it out without testing.
