The number of idiots I know claiming Drumpftroopers are "kidnapping" people off the streets is off the charts and they get so fucking buttmad when I say no, that's called an "arrest."

I really don't like antifa because they basically beat up any person trying to stop their pointless destruction and because they call anyone that disagrees with them nazis.
I might be wrong on the second part for all I know.
I hope these assholes all go to jail anyways for injuring people and destroying crap like a child having a temper tantrum.

And I'm glad Teespring didn't act like a suck up towards Antifa losers. Unlike other companies that bent the knee for far-left assholes.

I doubt this is representative of any actual courage. I think they may have just been informed by federal law enforcement that they face serious criminal penalties if they give material support to a terrorist organization.

I dunno, I think Barr is taking a page out of the same playbook as the dangerhairs and Karens and he's also got counter-terrorism laws on his side.

When this shit started getting big in 2017 and kept getting bigger, I figured the only way you could truly bring down Antifa was either through RICO cases against the larger groups like Rose City Antifa/Torch Network or just going "Screw your optics, I'm going in!" with the Patriot Act.

Looks like they took the latter option, which could prove interesting for the companies who all endorsed BLM simultaneously right after Barr gave the terrorist designation to Antifa. If there is a concrete "smoking gun" connection between BLM and Antifa (as in, the kind that could be used in court for a slam-dunk conviction) then a lot of major corporations might end up having to issue a lot of retractions in the coming months.
 
Very mainstream media like NYT have simultaneously come out against antifags while simultaneously doing fancy footwork to distance it from BLM itself. As hypocritical and opportunistic as this is, I'm pretty okay with letting BLM get away with some bullshit if it means antifa gets the full shaft.

I'm thinking that may have happened, or happened in concert with an internal memo from legal going around and explaining "You know, we might be considered civilly liable for someone's hospital bills if we're selling what amounts to the official uniform of violent street thugs, and one of the people who bought one from us goes on to stomp some little old lady into the pavement for being a racist"

But yeah, this isn't courage, this is realizing that they stand to lose a lot of money.

I think they really are going to drop the hammer on Antifa. That might be why Trump issued the weird statements recently and how he was going to lay low. He may have kept his statements as vague as possible so he wouldn't inadvertently tip off Antifa or the MSM.

I think the bigwigs still see some use in BLM but they've probably officially written off Antifa as useful idiots. If November goes badly for the DNC, then I expect BLM to get thrown under the bus too.

They might start throwing BLM under the bus earlier if the DOJ gets some smoking guns that tie BLM to Antifa without any kind of plausible deniability, but for now they still see BLM as valuable for getting black voters in November. So BLM's still in play for now.
