The thing is, if you've been working to build an Instagram following, and have millions of followers and a certain level of fame beyond Insta, you really should be doing a lot better than Tess is.
That she has not managed to build any kind of steadily successful breadwinner of a venture based upon her now-past modeling career, and her status as probably the best-known fat-acceptance "activist," shows just how profoundly stupid and short-sighted she is.
She can throw tantrums and "set the record straight" all she likes. She can have as many fat ass-patters and thirsty fetishists on Insta as she can get. The truth remains that her career, already in steep decline even before this insane dumpster fire of a year, is staggering around on its last legs, and there is absolutely nothing she can do or say to stop that. And she has absolutely nothing she can replace it with, leaving as her only options either prostituting herself to fetishists, or doing feeder porn--neither of which is going to remain options for very long because she's not getting any younger, plus she's a raging, entitled bitch. Nobody wants that; not for long.
I've been saying it for years, now--time is not on her side, and that the only way this stupid cow can think of to mitigate that is to get fillers and Botox in her increasingly fat-ravaged face says everything.
Tick-tock, Tess. Your clock is winding down, your time is almost up, and when the alarm goes off and it's time for you to wake up? Shit's going to be ugly.
Nothing any FATTY, of any age, wears is going to set trends for teenagers (unless they're already massive fatties themselves).
Nothing Tess has ever worn, for any manufacturer, was going to catch on anywhere because she wore it, except among the 3X and larger crowd. Those are the only people for whom she is remotely aspirational. Sure, there may be a lot of smaller fatties, and even a few thin people, who claim they admire her "courage," but none of them want to look like her.

When the pandemic ends, she still won't find decent modelling jobs - that ship has long sailed. She'll still be a shitty parent, still clout chase like there's no tomorrow & won't be able to find a decent apartment or house.
She shouldn't worry about being cancelled. Her appeal was always limited & time is never kind to people like her. She's over - just too dumb to know it yet.

I believe Tess is acutely aware that her career is dead and is willing to do anything, except lose weight or be a pleasant person. Her going full woke is a way to try to get her noticed again. She’s not only a gross butter monster that struggles to fit in anything shapelier than a tarp, she’s burned numerous bridges and the moddle world is a small one. Not only is she a risk but she’s a risk not worth taking. Nobody is going to look at this 400+ tub and think “I need her to advertise my tacky clothes!” There are lots of plus size models out there; Tess is no longer useful.
All she is now is a homeless prostitute that is actively pissing off the remaining fans she has. Maybe it’s for the best, her fans need to move on and I’m glad Tess is showing in front of other gay girls what the end result is of HAES activism.

Notes on finding an apartment during the Covid-19 pandemic:
Most owners of rental units do not like those rental units to remain vacant one day longer than they have to (there are notable exceptions, especially in places like LA, but they're not really relevant here). Real property is an endless money sink, and if it's not earning money it's still demanding to have money spent on it. Smaller landlords operating on much thinner margins are especially motivated to keep their units filled with paying tenants.
So anybody with a vacant unit they want to see occupied is going to advertise it, and they're going to figure out how to handle showing it, going over the checlkist, and getting the paperwork signed, pandemic be damned. It's weird and inconvenient as fuck, but not really that hard.
Anybody who is looking for an apartment right now, who is a solid tenant with a steady income and acceptable credit rating, can find an apartment. There are landlords out there who will be fucking delighted to do what it takes to get you into one of their empty units, pandemic or no pandemic. In fact, if you are capable of paying rent, you are fucking golden, because some previously-reliable tenants simply can't right now--and there's also the bullshitters who claim they can't, but you're not allowed to kick them out.
Tess hasn't found an apartment, because she isn't looking, because she can't afford one. Even if she could scrape together enough to move in, her credit rating is no doubt shot to shit, and if she and Nicky-boy got evicted from the Long Beach shanty for non-payment, she's poison.
And of course Covid-19 was still just a twinkle in some Chinese bat's eye back when Nick flew back to Oz and Tess moved in with Jolene. She had at least four months pre-Covid, when she was still capable of getting work because the fashion industry hadn't yet ground to a near-halt, to find another crappy little Long Beach rental, and she couldn't swing it. And that's all you really need to know.
(And she's dumb enough to think that once Covid is over the fashion industry will have any jobs left for her, and she'll start making money again. Boy, is she in for a rude awakening; the full catastrophe in that industry hasn't even hit yet. People incalculably more skilled and talented than she could ever be are going to lose their entire livelihoods; it's fucking ugly.)
Oh, she'll still get cancelled; she's got too many people out there who already know just how fucking awful she is; she's indiscriminately ass-kissing too many people who barely know who she is just for woke points; I'm sure she's annoying the shit out of the gays she depend on with her "queer" posturing; and she's shitting the bed in her own Insta comments section by being an openly belligerent, mean-spirited cunt.
It doesn't matter that her career's over, she's still got a bit of momentum left over and enough followers to keep her convinced she's somebody, and that once Covid-19 goes away her big comeback is inevitable. Denial's a hell of a drug. But getting cancelled would still be her worst nightmare; she'd actually have to face the fact she's done, over, finito.
