I was thinking a counter protest larp where you and 50-100 balding, fat, middleaged men show up with trans-racial-trans-gender signs and chants, and say the most outlandish shit, complete with kafkatraps, stupid music, abysmal demands, and terrible terrible drag. The idea would be to embarass them and make them seem absolutely insane to even left wing news outlets. Then I remembered these people have no shame and wouldn't care about the blatantly white men who identify as black women.

The “insurance will pay for it” argument is complicated at best though. Target and Cub Foods? Yeah, their insurance likely paid out 100% within a few weeks. The small businesses that were mostly minority and immigrant owned? Not so much. Only 20% of commercial damage has been paid thus far and many businesses will never see a full payout.

The business owners made missteps too by not updating coverage amounts, etc, but they also probably never thought they would be in a situation to take a complete loss due to riots. It is complicated. People can be angry, but I do not think people should loot and burn businesses in a civilized society no matter what. Plus the ”generic looting” turned into mayhem and arson almost immediately and it was not only the white soyboys. There are many clips of joggers running cars into buildings to break into them, the Target cash registers being hammered into oblivion, and more and more.

There are times where looting is understandable, (i.e. a bad natural disaster strikes and you need food/first aid stuff/tools to clear roads depending how far you are from important routs/clothing depending on how your shelter/house got hit, etc) Katrina is good example as the goverment at all levels (local to federal) all fucked up royally.
But to loot because some one got killed, oh hell no.

The best thing you can do it just dont give them any visual opposition to rally against. Without an enemy to unite against they eat each other in a vicious manner. Some times quickly sometimes slowly. But without visual opposition they self destruct all the same.

The best over all strategy is create pockets of armed resistance in red areas that will keep the riffraff out.
