With some effort, the r/Animemes fiasco could serve as a good wake-up call for the troon-worshipping redditors

Its really surprising that some of them tried running to r/traaans and other boards to see if the troons were on their sideWith some effort, the r/Animemes fiasco could serve as a good wake-up call for the troon-worshipping redditors

Wait, what's the nontroversy there? Is "man" a bad word now?
If transphobes don’t differentiate between trans women and regular men, then what’s the point of banning “trap” from reddit threads? They act like by banning the word people are suddenly gonna start thinking that trannies are women.Reddit dump:

r/MTF's new pinned comment. Unsurprisingly it's a rant about how the word "trap" kills trannies, despite it not being used to describe trannies:

I believe Shatner decided he did not like the appellation “cis” and is using their tactics of argument against them. “Don’t label me!”
Bill is based.
squirrelWhat is that? It looks like a kitten but I suppose not.
No. There's too many "good" trannies who are openly against the ban for that to happen. A lot of the posts and comments there paints the troons as true victims because they really like traps and now the mods have ruined it for them. With some effort, the r/Animemes fiasco could serve as a good wake-up call for the troon-worshipping redditors
Please god don't let them kill or mistreat that squirrel because they're stupid.squirrel
I can tell you with absolute certainty that my first action would be to wonder what the fuck am I doing at a Starbucks to begin with. If I wanted shit coffee, I'd just get instant. Cheaper and far less pretentious.
Go home and make my own coffee that doesn't taste like burnt shit.>What do?
‘Ideraina’ can’t troons just pick a normal common name for once?
No.‘Ideraina’ can’t troons just pick a normal common name for once?
And why exactly do you need the pronouns of a Starbucks barista?

Anyway, at this point it would take less time to name all of the things that don’t get trans women killed, since every goddamn thing on earth apparently murders trannies (yet they keep multiplying like cockroaches). For a bunch of people who can literally be murdered by any number of things, they sure do love to give people even more reasons to find them revolting by being as ugly, insane, stank, and controlling as possible. You’d think that for a demographic that’s that (allegedly) vulnerable to attack they’d learn to stop pissing everybody off and stop making enemies with every group they interact with.
Straight men won’t date HSTS troons because they want kids.We do not possess hard-coded attractions whether they be romantic or sexual to categories per se but rather we feel them in response to some complex combination of physical cues and psychological factors. And as someone else said earlier, I don't believe there is any particularly solid theory that explains the development of sexual attractions - all we have is a set of observations and correlates.
- There is some connection between sexual orientation and other elements of your behaviour, witness the connection between childhood cross-sex tendencies and homosexuality. There are also a fair number of studies connecting prenatal hormonal factors (birth-order, androgen levels/timings etc.) and homosexuality as well as behaviour. Practically speaking, there seems to be a sort of forking in development such that you get 'homosexuals' and 'heterosexuals' and this process occurs prior to sexual awakening. However, it couldn't be reasonably concluded that sexuality is actually inborn since it is impossible to really know how exactly it is refracted by social (or other post-natal environmental) influences.
- Female sexuality is substantially seems more plastic and contingent on circumstance (esp. true of 'romantic' attractions), hence political lesbianism, probably the autism-lesbianism connection (an underappreciated reason why FtMs are so autistic), bisexuality-mental illness connection (the B in BPD stands for bisexual etc.) as well as higher rates of bisexuality in general. I don't know that you could have any real certainty about the cause of this observation though since it could be due to both cultural forces (esp. at the level of personal ID) or biological differences in sexual/romantic attraction.
- It seems that the more hard-coded elements of sexual attraction are the physical cues. Hence why straight men jack off to traps, trannies etc. Moreover, this also helps explain why shit like 'forced bi/gay' JOI videos (wherein a woman tells you that you are going to suck a man off etc.) do not tend to have much (if any) actual homosexual imagery. I think this also helps explain why certain pornography is more common. For ex. I am quite sure that there are far more videos of women having sex with animals than of men having penetrative sex with animals, this makes a lot of sense since almost nobody is actually sexually attracted to the form of a dog just to something like the idea of people having sex with them. Erotic narratives and ideas are plastic in a way than cue-based attractions just aren't.
- Socio-cultural forces play a very large in behaviour and interests. Pederasty throughout the ancient and middle eastern world is probably the best example of this. Pederasty comports well with the idea that sense cues are not particularly plastic - boys are more feminine than men - but also shows that culture matters since very few western men (mostly) do not find 13 year old boys sexually attractive, but this is not so in say rural southern Afghanistan. Worth noting that rates of MSM behaviour in rural Afghanistan are very high but it is still taboo to be romantically attracted to men (this is 'gay' apparently). Even more interestingly a lot of men believe women are disgusting or dirty despite being recognizable as obligate 'heterosexuals' in their preference for what we would call the feminine.
- Perceived expectations and ideals also carry a large weight in romantic pairings. This is part of why straight men generally won't date HSTS trannies even if they'll sleep them. This operates both at a conscious level (i.e. 'what would my family think') and at the subconscious level. This is probably part of why Corey Maison said he is drawn to FtMs since that would make him a 'heterosexual' but with the added advantage of it being a literal heterosexual pairing -- though it is worth considering the possibility that this comment was complete bullshit. I think perceived expectations and ideals are also part of why there are so many troon-troon pairings. Being with another troon allows you to 'be gay' which is a major fixation for a large fraction of troons even if being with a fellow troon isn't maximally validating. Moreover, trooning out obliterates basically any and all internalised expectations of your behaviour so you lose a major inhibition towards being in a freakshow relationship.
