"Culture war" is more of a conservative pet term from my experience. No far-lefty I've known has ever used the phrase to describe their own political engagement, because it suggests that a group of people is trying to artificially force changes on their culture (and you want your own cause to be seen as organic).

Breonna Taylor is one of the few cases where she really didn't do anything wrong. The cops had bad information, they banged on the door and barged in without saying who they were, her boyfriend tried to defend them against what seemed like home invaders (which they were, I guess) and Ms Taylor ended up getting killed.

However

The protests should have remained peaceful and should never involve innocent people. I hope the rioter-terrorists rot from the inside out over this shit.

What a worthwhile goal. There have been 16 murders in Chicago in the last week, 464 this year so far - nearly as many as all of 2019 -- and all thanks to BLM. But go ahead and tilt at the Confederacy, that'll make a dent where it matters, I'm sure. Black Lives Matter as long as we can shit on whitey, otherwise Black Lives Aren't Worth Shit (BLAWS, patent-pending).

They have caused tens if not hundreds of millions of dollars in damage, a significant portion of that to small businesses, businesses that were struggling as it was thanks to COVID. Many of those small businesses will never return thank to Antifa and BLM, thanks specifically to them.

But go ahead and tilt at the faded, impotent spectre of the Confederacy. What a worthwhile cause. How can so many be so stupid. They are worse than the disease they claim to be fighting (it doesn't help that the disease they claim to be fighting is non-existent).

There's a really good meme showing this. If counter-protesters go to the rally then they become the focus and antifa feel justified in violence. Just stay home and play vidya, then antifa are the focus and they eat themselves.
