Holy fuck, that is some real dogshit family history right there. It's just the same shit copy pasted, but with different dates and less g's and maybe a new name. I would be embarrassed putting that type of shit out. Anyway the family looks like a fucking ouroboros, an infinite cycle of shitty yanderes.

The concept is fucking retarded, but could somewhat work if you flipped it on it's head. Say, when she first gets her emotions instead of becoming a crazy and murderous bitch she just steps back sees what she's doing is fucking mental and tries to live a normal life fighting against her urges to kill or wreck whoever Senpai wants to put his dick in.

Or hell, just turn it into a dark comedy instead of trying to make a super serious storyline out of this trash.

If it wasn't for his virginity fetish, he could actually make a good writing decision, like the Aishi line being especially passionate with the yandere being a result of years of Ayano being rejected for being a crazy clinger. That's believable without smelling like bullshit.

Too bad Alex can't make good decisions.

Not touching on the fact that 96% of women in Japan take on their husband's surname, but until the Meiji restoration (1868 ), common Japanese people did not have surnames, only Samurai and the nobility did. General public having surnames became mandatory only in 1898.

(from Aishi curse wiki)
Since he specifically stated she is not part of a Samurai clan nor is she nobility, that would mean she would not have a surname, and neither would her "Senpai". Merchants would use the name of their brand in the place of a surname, or for example, name of their town and province.

Furthermore, a family that did not have any male heirs, would sometimes even adopt a male into the family. A son born out of wedlock is more likely to lead the family than the legitimate daughter. Law of equal inheritance was adopted only in 1945.
This is not even touching that at the time, marriage was almost always arranged by the family head, and not something borne of love and affection.

So the likelihood of there being several generations of female heirs during the Edo period is about as likely as Alex finishing Yandere Sim.

Sorry if late, but I was dirbusting and found this: https://yanderesimulator.com/privacy/ (archive). Can't find any mention of it anywhere. Was there ever some sort of "YouTube live chat plays Yandere Simulator" bot?

Also the ProcessWire login for the site is https://yanderesimulator.com/_admin/, found in the robots.txt (lol). All of the main site's HTML is served through there so it's likely what he uses most often.

Japan was closed to all countries except the east asian countries and the Netherlands. How they fuck did she get there?
It wouldn't be impossible to get in as a foreigner (if one is to consider mishaps by boat travel), though I'd be honest: the first Aishi would make a better story than Yandere Simulator just because of all the wacky shenanigans that would be necessary for someone who doesn't speak the language to survive outside of Dutch or Portuguese areas of influence.

Of course, Alex is not a very practiced writer, and I doubt he'd want to do the work required to make such a story interesting.

Oh yeah, that would be under the sakoku, assuming the first "Aishi" would be from 1780. That would mean she'd either be from one of those countries, or she would've come to Japan being 73 years old nevermind, I'm retarded and failed to read the post saying she literally came there in 1797. That would leave one option that would actually make sense. I'd say kudos to him if he runs with it, but it's Alex, so the answer to that is obvious.

Not surprised that Alex doesn't know shit about Japanese history. I'm willing to bet that he learned Japanese history through watching anime.
I don't know why he leans into shit he doesn't know so much.
99% of non-Japs don't know about anything but the Meiji Restoration (and that's still iffy), maybe the Sengoku Jidai, and Japan post 1941.

I mean, I knew he wouldn't do even basic level research (or read historical fiction about the Japanese), but it's double stupid to expose yourself as not knowing a thing.

If he wants to write lore, just write about the current time period.
Like maybe the red haired student council bitch dyes her hair or something. You could probably get twenty pages out of the tragic story of why she does that.

He's the stereotypical weeb who thinks Japan is literally like in anime. Imagine if a Japanese person thought all Americans were literally cowboys and indians.

Alex visiting Japan in a few years...

Now I understand even more why the Japanese media has mocked the shit out of this game. Imagine being Japanese and then hearing that some gaijin from America is creating this anime-inspired game about a yandere killing for her senpai. Now imagine hearing about the developer trying to add all of this lore to his game, not even bothering to learn even the most basic Japanese history in the process.

It's fucking hilarious to realize now that he's spending so much time making lore, and he hasn't even researched shit. He's just pulling it all from the inside of his butthole.

It's pretty obvious there are huge gaping holes in accounting for how he spends his time. Not coding, not even researching Japan... That's a lot of time to spend in your own butthole.

He'd rather spend time playing vidya, jacking off to hentai, and watching anime than working on the game. At this point, when he is working on the game, he's working on its shitty lore rather than actually coding it.
