This is bad for poor women (including those who are BIPOC!!11) because of their much lower levels of health literacy, even among those who are native English speakers. Lots of people have no idea what a cervix is because the American educational system is bad. But rich coastal dwellers need their feelings coddled.
I'm always genuinely surprised that there are people on the left who think that going against the trans agenda will result in anything other universal condemnation from their liberal peers.

IMO. You can't just -move out- like you need to have a job in order to continue to actually live on your own because living costs money. I don't get these e-beggers because anyone with half a braincell would know that you rent/food/internet/etc are recurring bills and 'supporting' these people would be pointless because even if they got enough to -move out- they'd just up the e-begging even more in an attempt to pay for their lifestyle because if they don't currently have work they're unlikely to get it and if they had work then they should reasonably be able to afford their own place.

See, that's why I don't get with the whole pronouns thing. For example, I have some professional collaborators who work at universities and put their pronouns in their emails. Why? If I just email you, I won't be using a pronoun anyway. If it's a group email, I will be using names to avoid confusion.
Same thing I noticed at conferences recently. The name badge asked for pronouns. I think I saw about 5% of attendees actually filling it out and they were all obviously female grad students/RA's with 'she/her' who rant on twitter about how us biologists totally know sex is a spectrum. And maybe 2-3 obvious AGP troons who were plastered in trans flag pins l, so everyone knew to avoid them without even having to look at their pronouns. Why would I need to know their pronouns anyways if I'm speaking to them face to face? And if they weren't around, I wouldn't just go with a random "Have you met her?". I'd probably use their name and institution because otherwise nobody knows who tf I'm on about.
I ponder this myself. The only time I've ever used the pronouns of a person is in a conversation in which they aren't present and after saying the name of a person, talking about them with the pronoun because it's faster than saying their name over and over. There's no reason to use them in almost all other conversations.
Half the time this is literally just an excuse to get mad at some poor retail worker who accidentally uses Sir or Ma'am and little else.

An American pretending to be Jewish for oppression points is cringe. It’s not like Shaun King where he’s clearly getting something out of being Talcum X. Someone who is Jewish and lives in the rural South will have a hard time, but so will someone who is Catholic.
What it really is is preying on in-group bias, which is the basis for most tranny grifting. People feel the urge to help those who are like themselves.

Well, there was one instance where he made post after post bitching about how his parents wouldn't let him have his skateboard, despite the fact that he paid for it (which I doubt). Eventually, he makes a post proclaiming his excitement that he finally wrested said skateboard from his "abusive" parents. The very next day he started his usual shtick of suicide baiting, "nobody cares about me," garbage. I say "fuck it, I'll bite." Ask him what's wrong. Apparently he fucked up his knee falling off the skateboard and had to go to the ER. He insisted the experience was absolutely traumatizing and it was somehow his parents' fault. I was completely flabbergasted, having never seen anything like it before.

hi, I’m June, a 20 year old trans woman. I’ve lived with my parents for all of my life, and have been treated poorly by them for nearly all of my life.
my mother was violent when dealing with me as a child, when I was undiagnosed with autism. She’s tried stabbing me with a fork out of anger at the age of 7 as a major example.
i’ve come out to them before which has been met with anger, including my stepfather using slurs against me, forcing me to throw out my clothes and repress my identity, as he’s been more prone to anger and more likely to be violent against me ever since.
this has all effected my mental health in bad ways, and moving out seems to be the only solution. i know that it isn’t the best time for it but im really struggling and being able to finally leave wld help tremendously.

They live in an upper middle class echo chamber and believe it's the majority opinion. I was reading earlier about how JK Rowling's publisher asked the trans lobby group Mermaids for their help in censoring an article regarding a free speech court case before it gets published in a magazine for advanced high school students. The editor justified this by saying the court case and whatever the judge said "would be offensive to most of our readers and our staff". This might be true for the staff because people in publishing are generally white upper middle class SJW types, but the fact he so confidently stated this about British students from all over the country shows these people are completely out of touch.
