Not entirely true. Batman the animated series was primarily made by Bruce Timm and Alan Burnett, now Gargoyles does have a connection to BTAS, but not the exact one phil said.

I know this sounds like an autistic detail to nitpick, but I have a personal connection to those TV shows, so I wanted to point it out.

Even if it's banning trolls, I still would be turned off by a streamer I enjoyed giving overly long and undue attention to them. Hearing someone swear at people and insult them is entertaining once in a blue moon, but if it comes at the expense of the actual entertainment (da gameplay) it gets old fast.

I don't think Phil's ever asked himself and been honest about what value he brings to an audience. LIMB is one thing, but if Ninja or CohhCarnage or any big streamers announced every ban/timeout and insulted them on the way out they would definitely lose viewers.

The thing to remember about every DSP fan is they're just one quick realization away from being a detractor. The question is always just what it takes to wake them up.
