This is what I find so interesting/stupid about this situation.
Here is a black man, who owns a business, he's also an avid supporter of "Black Lives Matter".
He has his business trashed by people claiming they are doing it for BLM and police abolishment.
I'm going to assume that's his truck or a truck associated with him in the background.

He believes the narrative that GF was "kneeled" on for 8:46 and died as a result of "muh couldn't breathe".
He also believes the narrative that AA's are unfairly targeted by the police and the system needs to change.
He would no doubt also believe the whole - provably false - narrative about Mike Brown and "Hands Up, Don't Shoot".

Yet he doesn't believe the trouble makers are anything to do with the cause, yet the narrative as stated by the "protesters" themselves, are that they are indeed to do with the cause.

The behaviour that these shitbags are engaging in, is no different than the behaviour that black "youths" engage in daily - hence why they live in ghettos.
Granted, Antifa are mostly white, but it doesn't really matter. They're behaving in the same way that ghetto niggers behave in, that have destroyed previously white, prosperous communities, where the people have had to turn away from their spoils, go elsewhere and watch it fall into literal ruin (like Baltimore).

Black people wouldn't be hated, nor would they be in so much trouble with the police, if they just behaved.

Found a linked news story when pulling pictures, and the BLM mural painted in nearby St Petersburg (across the bay from Tampa proper) is actually closer to a proper mural than the usual yellow slogan. Maybe the Bay area just has a lot of artists.

I don't want to dip into the whole Covid paranoia that is currently shitting up another thread. But this is part of the "science is the new religion" thing on the left.

Wearing masks is the one generally recognized useful thing to do during the pandemic, and these people are desperate to show how Right Side of History they are, how righteous they are, how correct they are. So when you're tearing apart their grievance narrative, shredding their talking points, or even just standing up and showing how ridiculous they are, then they rely on the one objective thing they have to make you look bad: not wearing a mask.

Of course, they know their own mass gathering is a disease vector. This is just another example of projecting their own wrongs onto their enemies. But they have placed their entire faith into a half-remembered headline they scanned on Twitter, where the high priests of the CDC claimed they would be safe as long as they wore their sacred amulet ritual mask.

They are religiously demanding you put on the totem of protection, and shaming you for not complying. "How can my opponent be a good person if they aren't even complying with a government regulation? Checkmate, chuds!"

It's not a mental illness, really, it's a mental weakness. They've allowed the normal human tendency towards religious spiritualism to be transplanted to something venal and stupid. You could excuse it if it happened by accident--say, the Catholic Church doing chants for hundreds of years, then believing the weekly performance is what matters instead of the content of the prayers. But these people are intentionally conflating their politics into religion.

Yep, they broke into every pharmacy they could to steal drugs. One report from the neighborhood said she saw people sorting through a bunch of stolen filled prescriptions in her building’s parking lot. Anyone with a controlled substance prescription had to get new prescriptions from their doctor because those cannot be transferred amongst pharmacies, even within the same company. When I found out about that, I wondered how many poor people had to deal with the hassle and possible cost of an appointment if their doctor wouldn’t write another without seeing/talking to them.

Keep in mind that the snack van is constantly surrounded by protesters, and has a driver with it at all times to move with the crowd.

Any kind of helpfully glowing advice to disable it would need to be a quick attack, 10-15 seconds at most, with only the exterior of the car available. It shouldn't be detectable by noise so you don't alert bystanders to yourself and get caught. This is why the gas tank and tires get so much attention.
