I'm not convinced he won the beef with Machine Gun Kelly. Dude lays down 3-4 verses on a Tech N9ne song.

Eminem drops an LP out of nowhere just have his response on an album, but he has someome else doing the work for a solid 2 minutes

MGK puts out a music video on Worldstar. (lol)

So he comes back with killshot. Outside of the manbun and mumble rap jabs it's mediocre.

That's if it wasn't all a show to sell records. If it was fuckem, Tech's a better rapper than either of them anyway.

Probably the oldest and most interesting is with Cage. Good luck finding information about it online though. I wouldn't say Cage won as his career puttered out sooner than Eminem's and he lost a large part of his fanbase when he started making music in a new style. I believe he's even referenced in Eminem's newest album so I would consider how long Cage left him mad a victory in itself.

All the times Eminem tried to start a beef with a non-rapper over something unimaginably petty and they completely ignored him (or made a joke out of it like ICP) are losses.

And MGK won, easily. It doesn't matter how much better Eminem's track was musically because MGK admitted from the start that Em is the better rapper. None of the dodgy, shameful shit MGK called him out on got addressed or refuted, and nothing Em shot back at him was substantial besides 'haha, you're less successful in the industry', which isn't really the sick burn you think it might be when you're being accused of using your clout to vindictively bury his career.

His beef with Ja Rule produced some great lines, but his thing with Mariah was definitely a loss because of how dumb it was.

He destroyed the fuck out of Mariah Carey but also he lost just by getting into a diss track battle with Mariah fucking Carey.

The funny thing about Em’s “Killshot” diss wasn’t the fact that he was going after a guy called “Machine Gun Kelly”. It was the fact that he went on record claiming that P. Diddy hired a guy to kill Biggie Smalls. Nobody cared about MGK after he admitted that.

Is the thought there that killing Biggie is what got Tupac killed or do you have your dead rappers mixed up?
But, Kells, the day you put out a hit's the day Diddy admits
That he put the hit out that got Pac killed, ah!

The most embarrassing thing about the ICP beef is that it started because Eminem was a fan and got rebuffed by them when he tried shilling one of his shows with 'possible guest appearance by ICP' and they found out.

It's pretty bad when "and losing" is only the second-most embarrassing part.

I am prepared to get hate for this, but Eminem absolutely lost to Machine Gun Kelly.

Eminem disses MGK after years of nothing. MGK responds, brings up Eminem blackballing him over a tweet, and Eminem barely addresses it in Rap God. It was a rap-battle sleight-of-hand, he bet on his audience ignoring the hits that landed for the sake of GNARLY internal rhyme schemes and it worked.

Surprised nobody mentioned Canibus

Also, I'll just add this one as an honorable mention.

Em/50 won the war but seriously the last line was probably one of the coldest in hip hop diss history. He definitely got under Em's skin with this one. Other than Black Child's Black Ferrari, this is the greatest diss track towards Em/50. Also, the funny part about this is that everybody jumped on Ja for mentioning Hailey but nobody jumped on 50 Cent for threatening to kill Ja's kids AND parents.

Skinnyman claims to have stared Eminem down after his first UK performance.

Council Estate of Mind is a solid album. It's a shame that he couldn't build on it.

Then, in 1999, came the night when he earned his stripes: the perfunctory first London show from Eminem. An embarrassingly slight performance left the audience restless, and no one was more narked than Skinnyman. “I’m a great Eminem fan,” he says. “The wit, the punchlines — I think he’s brilliant.” But offered the microphone by an anxious promoter, he expressed his anger in a stinging impromptu rap.

“He had this reputation as a battle rapper, but I just thought: ‘OK then, let’s really see who’s a battle rapper, ‘cos I’ll eat you’,” Skinny recalls. “I was rapping spontaneously, but I remember cussing the fact that he’s homophobic yet with his peroxide hair and earrings he’s more camp than anyone I know. I said something like: ‘I’m old school and I’ve been around since M&Ms were called Treets, and they’re sweets, and boys like you will get eat on these streets.’ I could see into the dressing room from the stage, and I was looking into his eyes while I rapped, so I knew he wasn’t going to respond. He had everything to lose and nothing to gain.”

He's never been in a beef with a serious artist. It's like a celebrity boxer bragging about their winning record when they've never gone against a pro.

True, but going after the Source was legitimately impressive, even if Benzino couldn't rap for shit. It's like the same celebrity boxer never going against a pro but one time he beat the shit out of a major country's entire military.
