I see lots of speculation about Ethan's supposed blackmail folders that he has on his capos in order to keep them in line. While I certainly don't think Ralph would be above that sort of thing, it isn't necessary to explain the behaviour of the guntguard up to now.
It really just boils down to ingroup vs outgroup politics. Mundane Matt is an other, so his mere presence taints your stream and you must never forget the flagging, however Ralph is 'in' so when he demands to see managers on DLive and spergs about corn jokes, that totally isn't funny and when you call him mean names it's super cereal. Somewhat ironically, this situation is similar to that which gave rise to the IBS-sphere, a lot of people were turned off by how skeptics were deciding that whenever skeptics were fucking up, then it was 'petty drama' and 'conspiracy theories' not worth their time. (skeptics who in turn got their rise out of GG/SJW-baiting that worked along the same lines)
You don't need the NP2 racket mafia, you don't need Ralph's black(ed) book. The only explanation necessary is that they are 'fwends', they hang out at each other's houses, host each other's shows and so they pick the nits out of each other's backs too.
Hell, remember when Donga's empire was beginning to crumble with the false pedo allegations and wrestle wrestle shit? A lot of people speculated back then that Tonka had secret tabs on Failure and co-horts that was keeping them in line, and the Ecelebs who mock him at every turn now were acting just as gingerly in their criticism of him too (Ralph and co. especially).
And, honestly, I think if these past two days have proved anything, it's that ER isn't exactly the best at keeping incriminating recordings under wraps.
