Biden may as well have gifted Trump the election with his committee’s choice of Kamala. Sure, she ticks the diversity boxes, but her DA record is terrible. I don’t see this choice converting people to Trump, but I do see it fracturing the Democrat party even further and probably getting more people to sit out this election. Some might suck it up and vote for Biden/Harris anyway, but with already low enthusiasm, I can’t see too many doing that by the time the election rolls around. There’s still plenty of time for Trump to bring up Kamala’s record. Biden should have gone for someone more unknown because no record is better than a terrible record. As far as I’m concerned, Kamala is pretty much a darker skinned Hillary Clinton.

I think the rule is that as long as someone is born in the US they're a natural-born citizen which is one of the requirements. I think if that wasn't the case she couldn't even be nominated as VP.

America has birthright citizenship so yeah she's a citizen. It's bizarre that someone understands the concept of an "anchor baby" but not that this means the baby is a citizen. Did you get this off some boomer's fb page or something?

Interesting commentary on why Kamala and the whole Abolish the Police moment are not mutually opposed.

I think the best instance to think about the emergence of the ultra-leftist District Attornies in cities like San Francisco (that Weatherman protege), Portland, Seattle, NYC, and St. Louis, who have essentially turned the judicial system into a revolving door for criminals and Antifa thugs- while throwing the books hard at any citizen who dares resist. Likewise, the weaponization of the bureaucracy could be seen in Obama's utilization of the IRS against Tea Party groups, and the corruption of the FBI against Trump.

These moves are also completely fine with corporations, who'd feel more at ease if average citizens can be depossessed of any power and unity they have, and all they have to do is pay lip service to IDPol movements that they probably fund to keep people divided. In fact, they'd much prefer the US to be far closer in nature to something like China, where citizens are completely powerless and authoritarian-corporatism is the name of the game.

I mean, it really isn't that much of a stretch to say that Kamala is MORE RACIST than Trump.

Kamala actively spent a decade imprisoning black men and refusing to let them out so she could use them for free labor. She literally tried to block evidence that would potentially exonerate a black man, Kevin Cooper, from being put to death. She imprisoned black parents because their children skipped school.

Tariffs ALWAYS work (except in fields where the country cannot physically produce the goods like Luxembourg and oil). Tariffs take time, you aren't going to see an immediate influx of jobs coming because they put a 2% tariff on computers. Empire always prevails, and your free trade shitholes were already conquered by soviet communism. This was explained by Yuri Bezmenov, Soviet protectionism and state socialism won in the end. All democracies inevitably turn into left wing tyranny, you can figure this out by doing math, and not complex math but really simple math as in "the side that gets the most votes wins." Figuring out that all democracies, if left alone long enough, will turn into liberal tyrannies is as easy as recognizing that 1 is bigger than 2.

Here's why: the liberal party will be able to win more elections because their inherent base will always be bigger than the conservative party, this is because the liberals appeal to the lower classes and because of the wealth disparities created by capitalism the lower classes will consistently be around 40-50% of the voters. But here's the thing, the reason that all democracies aren't liberal dictatorships is because the conservatives will pander to the lower classes and in the process become more left wing. Over time every party becomes far left because they need the vote lower class to win.

If you look at the Soviet Union under Stalin (and basically under all soviet dictators) you can see how communism and traditionalism can coexist. being gay was illegal there
