When he realized the jig was up he went out and got a job. He has an actual family he needs to support and bills to pay. He's not particularly funny, talented, or interesting. That's basically it.

Ethan Ralph has never had a job in his entire life. One of his major claims to fame is that he's a felon who drives drunk and tried to assault a female police officer that found him drunk in a hotel lobby.
