Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

I think most Trump voters stay quiet about being for Trump in public to avoid people screaming at them. And the polls are still claiming Biden will completely destroy Trump, same as with Hillary. So it’s not exactly the same.

Well, let me put it another way.

I suspect part of why Trump one is that the Elites didn't realize they NEEDED to rig the election against him last time until it was too late.

They will not make this mistake again.

I'm assuming we're going to just see the same level of voting apathy from blacks that we've seen for years where there wasn't Obama on the ballot, it's why Democrats are so eager to do some ballot harvesting, they could then send out a few volunteers to get these apathetic blacks' votes in.

And when it comes to getting the black vote someone like Biden likely helps more with that than any VP pick would due to his association with Obama.

While there's also the fact that everyone's vote matters and all that bullshit, not all votes are swing votes that the parties can reasonably expect to swing a significant number of. In Trump's case he is doing well about getting a few more blacks and Hispanics over to his side, so for Republicans it does make sense to try appealing to those groups. But this doesn't change the fact that for Democrats the main swing vote that they've identified, or at least believe they identified, is white voters.

With voter apathy, that's of course a major issue for the Democrats and part of why I figure Trump will have a reliable win. The Democrats are insulated enough with their media that they aren't noticing how unpopular some of their shit is and are relying too heavily on the media's notion that a hate of Trump will drive voters to the polls, even when they've gotten to the point that it's more exhausting Democrats psychologically than energizing them.
I am predicting worse black apathy, honestly. For a number of reasons:

1: Kamala is -hated- by blacks. She's indian, her family historically owned slaves, and her prosecutorial record was smashed into her hard in the primaries.

2: The riots have... not gone how the democrats wanted, but neither can they reign this in. While having this all go down in democrat cities WON'T make them vote Trump by all indicators, there are clear signs of increased hostility towards the democrats.

3: Trump... surprisingly is doing well with certain high profile blacks. I doubt this will translate to significantly higher voter turnout of that block FOR him, but will raise levels of "Fuck it".

4: Democrats throwing massive support behind hispanics early on IS going to come back to bite them. These two racial groups -hate- eachother, and while it made good political calculas early in Trump's presidency to shore up that block, it has come at the cost of black support.

I mean, I certainly am being quiet about my moderate support for Trump. I've learned that leftists and shitlibs are retarded, vitriolic and violent and I generally don't want to be accosted by them and lose their jobs unless it's for a good reason. Who I support in a presidential election isn't one of them. I think most people would agree with me.

don't forget in 2016 you were at best belittled or ignored. since then it got so much worse even the most centrist voter is tangentially aware how anyone not having the "right opinion" is treated. I mean they kept it up for 4 fucking years to make sure everyone gets the message, subconsciously or not. but that's not how it works (I hope, however this is clown world) - it's the same retarded belief any "nazi" that gets canceled stops being a nazi and can't do anything at all anymore forever. except they can still vote.

Yeah, I'm sure they'll be able to enter another country never mind leave this one while "covid" is still lingering about.

even without covid, where would they go? I remember when they were all meme-ing about canada - which ironically has an even higher immigration treshold afaik. so besides europe (where they don't speak the language besides bongland) or some SEA countries like japan (good luck with that) the rest are varying degrees of shitholes.

it's knee-jerk posturing, nothing more. and I really wish someone would take them for their word and just deport them just to hold them to their twitter spasms.

My worry is a few fold.

The right seems to have written off Biden and seems to be convinced that the polls are bullshit and that only the fringe left supports Biden.

The left has been working overtime the past 4 years to disenfranchise as many people and are openly plotting to steal the election via mail in vote fraud.

And the left seems to be trying to set up a narrative where the 2020 election is as close to 2016 as possible -- Establishment supercandidate with completely worthless and useless VP, polls overwhelmingly show that the DNC will win, etc etc.

If I didn't know better, I'd say they were trying to recreate 2016 again just so that this time we "get it right."

I do Uber driving off and on, for a few years even, so I've gotten to hear the change in tone with passengers over time. Like right after the election I'd constantly hear obviously liberal passengers raging about Trump, then gradually it was toned down to a few "lol russian puppet" comments, and then more recently it's practically nothing.

Democrats have lost that enthusiasm that was driving them for the longest time and even picked the pro-law candidate for VP to appeal to white voters which won't do anything to fix the enthusiasm gap.

As far as the Dem party's leadership, they probably are trying to recreate 2016 because they don't see themselves as having done anything wrong. They also refuse to see issues like immigration or globalism as valid to voters. I've even heard from other Uber drivers who work hyper liberal neighborhoods that passengers are saying Trump has been handling the coronavirus great. So personally I don't think there's anything worth worrying about with the upcoming election unless you're a Democrat.

True.

But you know what else is true?

There are a lot of smug as fuck little goblins on the left who would absolutely love to see the Right in mid-November have the exact experience that their pet useful idiots had in 2016 when a certainty was snatched away from them.

I'll stop worrying about the election AFTER the riots start when Biden's handlers concede for him.

The defense i have seen for her family owning slaves is that the half that owned slaves enslaved the other half therfore its ok.

To my knowledge her ancestry is Jamaican and Indian now i don't believe either of those civilisations enslaved eachother...i don't even think they knew eachother existed until like 100 years ago.

I've seen tweets occasionally where lefties keep trying to encourage each other to stay angry all the time because something something historic corruption something something fascism something orange man bad etc. I think they have to keep telling themselves that because they've worn themselves out trying to stay mad. We're really not meant to be in a constant state of rage, so if you try to force yourself to be, you'll only end up tiring yourself out, and eventually you'll just become apathetic.

Like others, I'm not about to say that Trump has it in the bag, and nothing's gonna stop me from going out and voting. But I think the enthusiasm gap is definitely real, and it could very well play a big part in the election. Republicans remain overwhelmingly supportive of Trump, with the only real holdouts being neocon RINOs that are already on their way out. Democrats really aren't that enthused with Sleepy Joe, and with all the BLM anti-cop hysteria, throwing Kopmala into the mix probably won't help (reminder that Surf Mommy has more presidential delegates than Kamala). To sway independents, Trump likely needs the economy to get back on the upswing and the Wu Flu to be mostly under control. A working vaccine in time for the election would help both.

I definitely don't expect the Dems to play fair, and they're going to do their best to swing the election into their favor, like all the mail-in voting stunts for "public safety" bullshit. Regardless of outcome, this election is gonna be one hell of a shitshow.

Why do some people still trust polls at this point? It's fucking obvious these people haven't learned a thing from 2016.

Many have argued that the Democrats will cheat their way into success in the election, having "learned" from 2016. My counterargument is this: the Democrats are too stupid to succeed at even this.
Because if the democrats do cheat their way to the presidency they're going to need these shitty polls as cover.
The defense i have seen for her family owning slaves is that the half that owned slaves enslaved the other half therfore its ok.
That line of thinking is going to end up as woke Nuremberg Laws.

And hispanics won't vote 200 years for Democrats like LBJ wished for blacks.

If anyone tries to prevent the Trump V Biden debates I will fucking stab them.

Why are you people expecting deep, clandestine plotting from people who supposedly "will not make the same mistakes again" when they've elected Joe Biden as presidental nominee and Kamala Harris as his VP?

This is why I can't take all this borderline doomer shit about the DNC using mail-in votes to steal the election seriously. It will be just as banal and blatant as every other time Democrats attempt voter fraud. Trump will call them out on it (because Trump can do things too), it will be challenged, the votes will be audited, and that will be that.

This kind of idiotic rhetoric can be used for any time a career politician faces an incumbent for the presidential seat. It's a naked ploy to avoid debating, when debates are one of the fundamental ways in which one candidate shows his superiority to another.

"You need to listen, and you need to understand. The debates are out there. They're coming. They can't be bargained with, they can't be reasoned with. They don't feel pity, or remorse, or fear, and they absolutely will not stop--Ever-- until Joe Biden's political career is dead."

Someone tell me whose idea it was to make this guy an "influencer from the right".

Ah, but see, the Democrats will use their 360 IQ minds to successfully commit mail-in voter fraud on a massive scale, and Trump and the Republicans will apparently do nothing about it!

The same election fraud that helped them completely sweep the 2018 midterms and every special election held since then, I'm sure.

No one said they are going be smart about it. It more of a bunch of tards going full throttle. That's what's concerning. A wicked genius is some what predictable. A horde of rampaging morons hellbent on getting what they want is unpredictable.
