Things are heating up at the ICE truck. I think the hippies were planning on spending the night blocking the truck's path.

This is correct, every black person in America is personally assigned an agent that force feeds them fried chicken and kool aid to make sure they reach minimum 250 pounds by the age of 18 years. This tradition started because slave owners used to purposely overfeed their slaves to fatten them up before they were dined upon by the entire town in the the annual Roast a Nigger festival (which predates Thanksgiving).

On a serious note, the only “systemic” disadvantages that American blacks face when it comes to health is the low number of grocery stores/supermarkets in ghetto hoods. For an explanation of why Whole Foods doesn’t want to open a new location in the south side of Chicongo, please reread the last 3987 pages of this thread.

That's hilarious. Law Enforcement doesn't have to tell 3rd parties shit. The only people it needs to show anything are those directly affected and their legal representation, and AFAIK they don't need to show it at the time of arrest itself. That's if they even need a warrant to make the arrest (again, AFAIK they can do a warrantless arrest if they have probable cause).

Early on in Detroit's protests, some group had an in-absentia bitching session where people could take the mic and talk about how law enforcement wronged them in some way. Either one of both of Mayor Duggan and Chief Craig, when asked to comment, largely brushed off the gathering and "trial" and said that as long they remained peaceful, they could protest however they pleased.

Detroit's protests have been largely nonviolent to date, so anything that keeps them that way might not necessarily be a bad thing. Many within the city would rather see the people dancing or largely being civil with each other than the full-fledged violence happening out west or what transpired in Chicago over the weekend.
