U.S. Riots of May 2020 over George Floyd and others - ITT: a bunch of faggots butthurt about worthless internet stickers

Thank God nobody inside was injured. But those families are probably scarred a good deal being that unwillingly close to a riot.

Not only do they bring their OWN children in this mess, but terminally ill children at a foundation aren't safe either.

Just when I think they couldn't stoop any lower, they find a way.

This is one of THE worst civil unrests I've ever seen in the United States. Quite possible in the past couple decades. Normally, they would last a week or so. But this has been going on since May, on top of a pandemic where people are losing their jobs, livelihoods, and lives they've worked hard on.

Even when all of this eventually dies down, the repercussions of these actions will have long-term effects on communities and social issues. Defunding the police will cause an increase of crime, and several businesses and residents to leave. Which means less funding, which will turn those cities into dystopian hellholes akin to the fall of Communism.

Hell, you have people afraid to speak out of anything remotely controversial or against the mob census, lest you lose your job, get harassed, your life threatened or WORSE.

I'm optimistic we will recover from this: we've gone through a Great Depression amidst a dust storm, two World Wars, a gas shortage, the Civil Rights era, damn near nuclear fallout, even Polio and AIDS. BUT, it requires all of us as Americans to come together as one. We mustn't allow ourselves to repeat history at the cost of eventual self-destruction. A house divided cannot stand.

Don't you find it a tad silly to hope we revert to the exact same situation that brought us here? It's amazing how you can desire to just..remain in this cycle, perpetually - irrelevant how often it breaks society, much less the fact that all things have a breaking point and nothing can remain the same forever, you just have an inherent desire to push the same shit over and over again, despite the fact it's clearly obvious those things are the things that have brought us here, time and time again.

What's that quote on insanity? Trying the same thing over and over again, expecting different results? If you think it just magically gets better and goes away, look at history, lol - whether you like it or not, eventually things have to change, and whether you like it or not, the more people thrash around and reveal their hand and the more the DNC displays how much systemic control they have over sociological affairs and the more their latently-retarded white rioters and black looters break everything around them while reinforcing the notion that white people are bad (a notion that millions now believe wholeheartedly whether you realize it or not - again, the cat is out of the fucking bag; do you not get how similar to a fucking train with faulty brakes this is?), the more people will desire some form of change.

We've been here multiple times before, and you'd be fine with us simply simmering down to rebuild back up to this point all over again? I assure you that every 'civic' solution you may have to this problem has been attempted - and has failed; we're at a point of cultural impasse and how you can't see that, I don't know.

Ever considered the fact the civil rights era was just a prequel and prelude to what you're seeing now? Vast majority of the West has survived everything you just spoke of at least once, but these people believe the civil rights era vindicates their tactic - that rioting works, they frequently use it as an example of their motive and the fact is those rioters WERE given what they wanted - funny how you don't understand that giving largely degenerate communities a mile results in them taking it ten eventually; your appeal to generic civil idealism with 'a house divided cannot stand' is a funny quote considering this house has been divided for well-over 150 years.

I like you, but no system caught in a vicious, self-perpetuating cycle of self-destruction, division and factionalism will last an eternity; endless fucking riots are just an example - I mean these riots are nothing new, lol, they're only 'new' in some sense because of how long they've lasted..other than that it's the same narrative we've seen been building up for the past ten years - lo and behold when narratives build themselves that long, they become fairly entrenched; can look at a nation as a machine, sometimes it fucking breaks and requires genuine fixing, not bandaid solutions until the next gasket tears (or better yet, just replace the fucking thing.) - can look at a nation like an organism, parts of the body occasionally get sick and need to be removed for the rest of the body to survive.

It's fun to see some BLM anti-police demonstrators having a taste of their own medecine in South Chicago.

Anti-police Black Lives Matter demonstrators harassed, driven out by local residents in crime-ridden Southside Chicago neighborhood
By Thomas Lifson
Well-financed activist groups descended in a car caravan on the crime-ridden Englewood neighborhood (42 deaths this year and counting), intending to demonstrate in front of the local police station. Englewood is where a 20-year-old was shot after allegedly pulling a gun on police, which was used as the excuse for systematic looting of stores on the city’s Magnificent Mile shopping district.
But the activists did not get the reaction that they must have been expecting.
William Lee reports in the Chicago Tribune:
A planned protest outside the Englewood police station Tuesday evening over a recent police-involved shooting devolved into shouting matches among demonstrators, with threats and insults hurled back and forth, after a group of older residents derided the event as “a party” and demanded that outsiders leave.
Eventually tempers cooled somewhat after several small confrontations, and people started talking. In the end, a much smaller group of demonstrators marched through Englewood while a large number of protesters headed home.
Nobody has suffered more from the activities of Black Lives Matter and associated groups than inner city black residents. When stores re looted and burned, they have nowhere nearby to obtain daily necessities. And when police back off or use excessive caution, it is inner city blacks who bear the brunt of the resulting upsurge in crime.
The Victory Girls blog has extensive coverage of the local groups’ outrage, including some interesting videos.
On Tuesday evening, activist groups came to Englewood via car caravan to protest a South Side police station. These included demonstrators from Black Lives Matter Chicago, Southsiders Organized for Unity and Liberation, and Chicago Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression. When you have groups that include the words “Liberation” and “Racist and Political Repression” in their names you know that they’re not planning to discuss issues over coffee. They wouldn’t mind stirring up some trouble.
So what do these groups want? Oh, the usual: defund police, remove police from schools, and more money for social services. (snip)
One man, 42-year-old Duane Kidd, accused BLM of “throwing a party.”
“This is propped up. They’re throwing a party.”
Then, added Kidd, the protesters will go home and “they’ll be sipping sangria.”
Kidd also fumed that agitators shut down the main street, making movement difficult for elderly residents of Englewood:
“They got the streets shut down. What about the elders that have to get up and down 63rd Street? Now they got to take the side routes.”
Did the BLM groups bother to think about their elders? Or anyone else in that neighborhood? (snip)

Honestly the most peaceful solution with the largest chance of working is to just yeet the coastal states off to their own country or countries. There's just too much incompatibility between Democrats and Republicans, and short of a wholesale purge of one side or another (and the Democrats are trying that with a slow boil of shifting demographics and fraud) there's not much that can be done to counteract the insidious evil we've been seeing.

Mostly my point - we've reached an impasse and all of the bullshit we witnessed across American history that bore similarity to this was really just part of some grand crescendo to the point we're at now, where discussion has left the fucking building and both sides are now too far entrenched to be budged with diametrically opposing, completely incompatible ideals.

Fucking sucks, but nothing lasts forever, clearly, idealism or not - no 'lull' in this contradicts this problem either, just means both sides live regularly for a couple of days or weeks before reigniting the fuckfest or before whichever local happening pisses the left off and makes them throw another one of their episodic hissyfits.

Niggers successfully get officers indicted for doing their job. This is what they were indicted for. It is well after a curfew on the second day of rioting.

What is even going on here? How do you just tank nightsticks like that?

Who could have guessed that the building immediately adjacent to the several other cases of arson started that evening by the rioters was also arson.

This fire happened on August 4th, well after the initial riots in the Minneapolis area, but yes it was clearly arson and nobody was waiting for the ATF to confirm that.

You want harmony and co existence. So do I. The problem? Those with the power and wealth to make society peaceful and harmonious see no profit in doing so. They see more gain by cause strife and friction. Can I guess their motives? Yes but I'm not going do another long spergy rant listing reasons why.

I wanna be your friend. The problem? You are a rarity. Most blacks want to kill me cause I'm white. Alot of other groups want me dead may it because of tribal instinct, revenge, for profit or gain, or have some sort of agenda.

I cant be friends with those who have hostile intent towards me.

Plus you seem like a good person. You just happen to be black. Once again if it was to be of profit to the powers that be to make the black community fine and upstanding they've would have done so by now. But it's not to their benefit to improve the black community. For the one the left hates those who defy the narrative. A fine upstanding citizen who happens be black and doesnt need the Democrat's handouts? Who isnt angry at whites past wrongs?
They are going make an example of you one way or another. If not the white "liberals" rioting in the street then it's going be your fellow brothers and sisters due to crab bucket mentality.

It's great you want america to be better for all. I find that admirable. The problem is you cant fix something that insists on breaking itself. Sometimes it's best to save your self. In this case it means leaving america before either side gets enough power and starts cattle car ing people.

Camping is basically just sleeping outdoors. If you can only do that with an array of expensive trappings, then maybe stay your spoiled pussy ass inside.

As a white guy trying to get into outdoorsy stuff, I gotta give them this one.

If you cannot build a cozy lean-to shelter out of the skin of the animal you just tracked and slaughtered with only your jagged fingernails after cooking its innards over a fire started with nothing other than a shoelace struck against the hard, tanned skin on your elbow then how can you even call yourself a man.
