Not to long ago, I wrote this modest thread, which seems to have been pretty effective in that I wanted a lot of people to spread it around, and people have:
I'd like to follow up on this now with another basic fact:
"Trans Rights Activists" don't exist.
The replies from bigots the above-linked thread have garnered have been somewhat fascinating to glance at as I block these people, because what that thread does is just plainly lay bear how one of the fundamental pillars of their bigotry just does not exist in reality, with links
When a person gets heavily involved in any sort of fascist movement, they accept that a lot of the points they'll be blindly parroting are to some degree untrue, but there's this whole mindset they have to adopt, where the truth/lie distinction is completely unimportant, and all that matters is whether a statement is a point to be repeated or a point to be argued against, and I honestly do think the people who get into this sort of thing long enough really do rewire their own brains to a point where they forget what's real and what's propaganda. So I do actually hope this thread I'm writing right now makes the rounds in those circles enough for at least one or two people to get at least a brief flash of clarity as they struggle to keep rationalizing all the lies.
So, to reiterate my point, "Trans Rights Activists" don't exist.
The central pillar of what keeps the whole Mumsnet crowd from just walking the hell away is this lie they keep repeating to themselves that SOMEHOW, all the horrible things they say and do are necessary evils in order to "defend women and girls" from some formless shadowy threat.
They constantly pump themselves up by repeating in blind faith all the scary things that some all-powerful trans lobby and/or cult is trying to bring about, but they simply don't exist. It isn't even that they've invented some shadowy illuminati that they're holding accountable for things they disapprove of. The things they disapprove of simply are not actually happening, or even being discussed as hypotheticals, anywhere beyond their own shared imagination.
They work themselves up about trans women petitioning for the right to use women's restrooms, but that fight has never existed. There was never a point where we weren't allowed in restrooms, nor when we haven't been using them, and all the scaremongering around the issue is fictional, even by the admission of the people who made it all up-
They panic over trans women trying to infiltrate women's athletic competitions and dominate everything with the super strength they imagine we all have, but again, that is not a fight that is happening. It happened decades ago, in well-documented fashion, again see the thread above for extensive details on this, and I am unaware of a single instance of trans women coming to dominate anything. Not as a huge sweeping trend. Not as a small sweeping trend. Not even as one individual woman you can point to just out there killing it in her sport/event.
And of course, the bigots who shout about this must, on some level, know this. There are no real examples of their fear they can point to. So moving the goalposts, I keep seeing all this shouting about how the REAL danger is from men. Full-blooded testosterone-oozing 8' tall men, all waiting in the wings ready to start barging into women's rooms and Olympic registrations the second the all-powerful trans lobby succeeds in changing the rules.
But, there is no trans lobby. There are no rules trans women are trying to have changed. There is no alliance of trans women and dangerous powerful sneaky men, nor any rational reason to ever imagine such an alliance. Yet my mentions:

But now 'transwoman' = 'any self-identified woman with a penis'
..."
Continuing, "The vast majority of transwomen have no intention of transitioning"
This is COMPLETE gibberish, blurring several different lines of propaganda together in a way I can barely make sense of, with the idea that having a penis is a requirement for being trans coming out of a particularly distant part of left field. It's also quite clear that this person does not understand what the terms "self-identify" nor "transition" actually refer to, and it's an astounding sign of blind faith in a cult's dogma to claim any knowledge of how many trans women with "no intention of ever transitioning" exist. A trans woman who never transitions, more or less by definition, remains in the closet for her entire life, never letting on that she is a woman and simply pretending to be a man until the day she dies.
Such women can't be counted in any sort of census of trans women, because they would not participate in the surveying. They also could not, and would not wish to, ever register to compete in any sort of sporting event as a woman.
I would imagine, if we give this individual the benefit of the doubt here, that they are utterly terrified of the fully imaginary boogieman that is a big gruff scary man standing up and shouting, "I declare myself to be a woman! That means everyone has to treat me like a woman or go to jail!"
Which, like the rest of these fears, simply does not exist.
The concept was invented by some disingenuous bigot several years ago, who wanted to turn the public against a legal reform to allow trans people in the UK to start seeking medical transition treatments without an arbitrary 4 year waiting period, by "self-identifying" as trans, rather than requiring documentation of the fact before even seeing a doctor about it. Nobody could really have reason to oppose THAT, so she just started lying to her teeth about what issue was even on the table, and suckers like we're assuming this person to be for argument's sake were stupid enough to believe someone was really going to change laws to function like toddlers making up the rules to some game of pretend as they go along.
Then of course you have people tricking their friends with false flag operations like this:
We have people accepting money from the heritage foundation, telling themselves that's OK because every doctor and government in the world is being constantly bribed by "the trans lobby" which apparently consists of... half a dozen women who are either unemployed or barely paying rent? You can't exactly shout "follow the money!" when there is demonstrably no money to be followed.
These people call me a "powerful activist" but... I'm a random American woman with nearly no friends, serious health problems, and I haven't even left my apartment this year.
The idea that I have political influence over anyone is completely laughable, yet here are all these people obsessing over me like I'm a CEO or a head of state, while passing around photos that look nothing like me and imagining I'm sleeping with their heroes or something.
I'm constantly overwhelmed with arguments from these people against points and causes that literally not one actual person in the world are actually advocating. It's just strawmen and scaremongering all the way down and I'm amazed none of them realize they're barking at the wind.
Just, please. Take a deep breath, go outside, get some fresh air, and look up at the sky to see that it isn't really falling.
It's just exhausting watching you all terrify each other with ghost stories then scream at innocent strangers about your ridiculous fears.
