It's really interesting to me that they always donate/fundraise for the SPLC [by extension the ADL too] or the National Lawyers Guild, rather than donating to actual charities or nonprofits that are at least trying to aid impoverished people primarily in the black community. I mean there's no lack of organizations that do that, or even raise money to feed people in Africa, yet somehow they always forgo those orgs and donate to the ones that are basically just a bunch of old Jews and college students who have the all-important job of deciding whether something is "hate speech" or a "hate group". Coincidentally, the majority of groups, individuals and symbols that they deem to be "hateful" are right wing or at least affiliated. Also coincidentally their webpages are some of the first results you consistently get whenever you search for certain terms, symbols, phrases or groups.

The curious part is, if these people really care so much about the advancement of black people, if they really believe the shit they've been chanting like cultists, why the fuck don't they donate their own money, proceeds, or fundraise for organizations that actually set out to help black people? Another thing is, a lot of these leftists are very "passionate" about their pet causes. Reducing homelessness, environmentalism, helping impoverished people, all of that bleeding heart shit. Yet somehow you never see them fund these causes, let alone donate time and labor to these causes. These morons could go work in a fucking soup kitchen or sweep floors at the homeless shelter and have a much greater effect on the lives of these 'disenfranchised, oppressed' people they care so much about and advocate for tirelessly. Why don't they do that? Hell, it's free! Oh right, because they're fucking lazy and ladling out some soup might cut into the time they'd rather spend throwing shit at police and setting shit on fire. Plus they probably consider such menial tasks to be beneath them. After all, everyone in the new Communist utopia they seek to build will be uniform designers, 'journalists' and artists and writers. "Sure, we care deeply about the working class and the proles! Communism! But not me! I don't want to plow the fields or pick green beans!"

I maintain that this bleeding heart bullshit isn't any sort of deep conviction on their part, it's not an actual "cause" to them, it's just a surface-level attempt to appear to be doing something so they can get brownie points from their equally retarded comrades. Even if they do actually do these things, they only do it so they'll be seen doing it and they can post about it on social media for asspats and applause. They donate a fuckload of money to a bunch of crusty old Jews and attorneys to get them out of jail, a place that most of them rightfully belong, and pay absolutely no mind to the many charities that actually do attempt to do some good things in the communities they supposedly care so deeply about.

At least our local brewery donated 100 percent and to a local non-profit. Doesn't mean I support it though.

It wasn't just the music though, but rather the subculture surrounding that music at the time and this was mainly with the American branch of Antifa. Sorry I insulted punk rock, but punk sucks and the subculture surrounding it was always anarchist and typically left-wing.

Antifa as we know it today started in 1960's Germany, with the anti-fascist paramilitaries of the 1930's being a prototype at best.

I'll never forget when I had to reverse a very complex system with no doc, little comments and variables like "tickleTime", "a", and "b" going through transforms for medical equipment. Oh. My. God. And I've been in no company with architectural breakdowns by function. Its a total clusterfuck to get anywhere spending maybe hours stepping through a system and constantly writing out council output of variables to find out how and why they change. No bueno.

If you think thats bad I once got assigned to refactor a legacy project because 'the comments are all in german for some reason and you're the only person at the company that speaks it' (gee what do you know they actually read my resume) so I get it, open it up and.....its not in german at all. Its literally utter gibberish dumped in random places to make it look like necessary comments. It was assumed to be german because the idiot who did it added a link to a german-english translator site to make it look like he knew what he was doing

or the time my ex asked me to check out an annoying bug on some website her friends had just put up that they paid some random dev off the internet to make for them 'from scratch' (and got majorly ripped off on I might add, it was like 6k for something I could have built myself inside of 48 hours) so I get a copy of the site, open it up and.....its about 80% auto generated code from some obscure app building tool and what isn't auto generated is commented in russian and barely coherent code in itself. for some reason they refused to believe this when I pointed it out to them and said they got swindled. then got all jittery and didn't want me helping anymore. for whatever reason they seemed to think I was trying to pull something on them, tried to convince the ex of this and she actually started to wonder that herself, believing their explanation that it was somehow impossible for anything like that to have happened. 'theres no russian on our site! nobody from russia worked on it!' eventually I said 'ok i'll prove it' and went to the live site and showed the ex literally by just doing a right click > view source....which showed a shit ton of russian comments all through it. so she told them she saw it herself. they doubled down again and accused us of 'hacking their site' b viewing the page source
