Ralph, in a drunken stupor, shared a sex tape with the internet, complete with fat gunt, tiny peen, and stankfinger sniffing. That's weirder. And while all this was happening, Ralph was profiting off jokes about Matt's flaggotry and degeneracy. What hypocrisy.

I wouldn't call Matt a martyr. I even think it's a stretch to say he's having a redemption arc. But when the internet has decided that the man who was burying him for years is a far greater asshole, I think he's due a victory lap or two.

And I say all this as a former fan. WN kooks aside, Ralph had a talent for booking some great guests. What immediately comes to mind is the black Israelites. The Branch Davidians were probably going to be a hoot too. But his repeated addiction-related blow-ups and thin-skinnedness were a huge turn-off, and this time around it was just too much of a dick-step to take him seriously anymore.

The best possible outcome in all of this, and the one I'd really like to see even if it's not the funniest, would be for Ralph to do what Matt did - take the L, apologize, and get back to work on his content, but with the addition of finally getting his fat ass to some AA and NA meetings. "Oh, my audience doesn't like me when I'm sober!" Well, it's now apparent that you never really gave us the chance…
