@HTTP Error 404 is talking in the context of how an individual American citizen can't defend himself without the pigs jumping in on the side of antifa. And if local cops do their jobs and don't arrest you, then there's the state government and the feds to persecute you. Look at how Trump's DOJ went after the Rise Above Movement for defending themselves against antifa at pro-Trump rallies in Huntington Beach. In DEMONRAT controlled California, it wasn't the locals, it wasn't the staties, it was Trump's boys who went after people for flying the American flag and backing the American President.
Now, are there covert actions that very careful people could take, with consideration of opsec? Perhaps.
Are there good deeds that cops who knew they'd have backing throughout their organization, all the way up the chain of command, including IA, etc, might be able to get away with in small towns, if antifa come in? Perhaps, but the FBI has been going after cops doing good deeds in small towns for better than half a century, now. And no cop is going to get away with a DIY deathsquad for antifa in a city like Portland.

The cops don't seem to be agreeing with you that this is working out. They're resigning. Those who don't resign, and who do engage in these kayfabe baton charges are likely going to face charges for giving the scum a small fraction of the pain and death they deserve.

Fair enough, so you're not talking about individual will and courage but cowardice from elected officials- so to look at it from another direction, what you're saying is that if the relevant authorities were actually interested in stopping the riots, it would take no more than a few days of appropriate police action to shut this all down? Alternatively, if they simply let decent humans stand against them without arrresting them for defending themselves, it would be over just as soon. But noone, from city authorities in places like Portland, up to Trump, have any interest in doing that.

Wear black to blend in. Whip out the cameras when something interesting happens. Be patient and grab whatever you can.
Counter lasers and counter strobes would be the way to go, I guess. It would be the most passive aggressive thing ever but it would work.

On a more pleasant note, I was kinda worried about getting back into this thread and was taking a break for a bit.
But I got a notice about someone rating a post I made earlier in the thread, I decided to catch up and keep it in perspective.
While BLM and Antifa's thuggery and the usual black fragility is frustrating, the fact that not only did Charlottesville 2.0 get averted twice but that the Portland Police Department of all people are cracking Antifa skulls and there's a massive wave of federal indictments on Antifa and BLM rioters is very good news.
Made in China and the Muslim gimmick poster can sling all the black pills they want, but the fact that Portland cops are doing anything at all beyond the most bare minimum is a major "white pill" moment in and of itself, to say nothing of the Feds ramping up the game against the leftists with over 215 federal felony warrants being served against zealots affiliated with Antifa and BLM.
Portland Police Bureau is utterly defanged and powerless against Rose City Antifa, and despite how much the PPB and Ted Wheeler actively coddle and aid Antifa, they still get treated horribly and barely do anything about it. But this wasn't the bare minimum token facade of resistance or riot control, but actually making good on their warnings and whomping punks and joggers with batons and breaking their shield wall.
Apparently, it's getting bad enough that the various PDX Twitter pages affiliated with BLM and Rose City Antifa are discouraging any protest activity at all in certain locations. They are getting increasingly scared and attacking innocent civilian counter-protestors with baseball bats on camera is only going to hurt them in the long run.
The Antifa and BLM attack dogs are now rabid and the bigwigs are now seriously considering putting them to sleep since they're scratching and biting the hands that feed them one too many times for comfort.
For the Woke Left, Anarcho-Tyranny is the goal while the bigwigs see it as merely a means to an entirely unrelated end
Sticking with the plan to have Kamala Harris as their main choice despite her baggage at a time like this also one of those things that makes me think even the DNC is getting sick of Antifa and BLM's bullshit and will do some internal purging of the leftists who cannot be brought to sell out and remain indoctrinated even after Trump is no longer in office.

Oh man. That poor guy is going to learn what happens when you think you're a big man not afraid of shit and try to come at real power/authority. He gets completely doused in what I can only imagine is a highly painful police grade pepper spray or mace solution. Notice how quickly he goes from being tough to yelling like a baby for a medic over and over again. Then he intentionally or unintentionally runs in the cops direction again and it looks like he gets hit with some kind of less than lethal weapon. After that he is briefly lead away only for the cops to tackle him and his buddies to the floor and cuff them. Now he will have to just suffer for an hour- 2 hours while the cops get a car and take him to jail. He will just have to take all the pain and irritation in his eyes and the pain from the projectile with no respite while his hands are tied behind his back in an uncomfortable position. I'm not trying to defend his actions in any way. Just pointing out how much his life is going to suck in the immediate future after this video ends.
