It was kind of a weak spot in his argument but I think he turned it around by saying the viewer wants to get in on the action. Like the porn viewer either inserts themself into one of the existing roles or they fantasize themselves being right there.
I'd argue more that a male watching lesbian porn enjoys watching females gettting off, regardless if by a male or other female, because they just enjoy females.
